Onlangs een week verbleven op Mas de Templiers even buiten Bedoin.
De locatie ,het uitzicht en het zwembad zijn prachtig.
Het huisje viel ons persoonlijk wel tegen.
Metname de afmetingen van keuken en badkamer ( inclusief wc) zijn erg krap.
De slaapkamer was groot met veel.kastruimte.
De aparte slaapruimte voor de derde persoon zat dagelijks vol met mieren (zie foto's) waardoor we het bed noodgedwongen verplaatst hebben naar de grote slaapkamer.De eerste dag hebben we direct een melding gemaakt bij de eigenaar,die 1x de stofzuiger er doorheen heeft gehaald maar verder nergens meer naar heeft geïnformeerd..
Een andere tegenvaller was de toegangsweg naar de gites. We snappen dat de weg (tussen wijnvelden) onverhard kan zijn maar in dit geval liggen de stenen en keien los en zit de weg vol met gaten.
Hierdoor hebben we er bewust voor gekozen om minder uitstapjes te plannen.
Dit probleem hebben we ook van andere gasten gehoord.
Conclusie is dat door het weer en de locatie en zwembad onze vakantie aangenaam was maar dat we er qua accomodatie ( smoezelig )en toegankelijkheid meer van hadden verwacht. gezien de foto's.
Wij zullen op deze locatie dan ook niet meer terugkomen..

Goedemorgen, meneer Wenneker. Wij danken u voor het indienen van uw mening dat de ene zelfs met negatieve punten is. Het spijt ons dat het huisje je niet meer had, maar we kochten de boerderij als het. Eind maart hebben we hierin ingegrepen zonder dat we de nodige werkzaamheden konden creëren omdat het seizoen begon via de verhuur van de vorige eigenaar. Als gevolg hiervan hebben we de verandering van het interieur aan de kant van de woonkamer in decoratie en fauteuil gemaakt. Wij lancerenDeze winter het werk van het herontwikkelen van het huisje dat je bewoonde. Helaas hadden we dit probleem van mieren in beeld en we passeerden een expert hiervoor noodzakelijkerwijs een ongemak werd opgemerkt en we doen er alles aan om dit probleem te beheersen. Voor. Het deelpad staat helaas als we niet veel kunnen doen alleen het gemeentehuis van Bedoin kan de weg herontwikkelen die we hen vroegen tijdens onze sleuteloverdracht van de boerderij in april en we We wachten op een hertekening van het pad. Mia en ik hebben hier echt genoten! De ligging is ideaal en nodigt uit om gezellig tot rust te komen. Zeer mooi uitzicht zelfs van in het zwembad. Ons privé-terras in gîte 'Atelier' is werkelijk ideaal gelegen direct aan het zwembad. Hier geniet je van de kalmte en de naastgelegen wijngaarden doen je leven als god in Frankrijk.

The rooms were larger than expected, with good facilities. The house is quite remote (I would recommend four wheel drive) but that means it is quiet and peaceful. The pool has stunning views over the surrounding vineyards - there is nothing quite like hanging on the edge of the pool gazing out over the stunning countryside view. Our apartment was poolside, and had a patio with a stone table under a mulberry tree - where we ate at every opportunity. Adele was a fabulous host, providing a bottle of wine on arrival. Two of the guest areas are completely separate buildings, so you can keep to yourself if you prefer, but Adele was always happy to chat with us and give recommendations on places to visit. Bedoin has a big variety of cafes and restaurants, so you will be spoilt for choice if you wish to eat out, and you can sit back and enjoy watching cyclists go by (there were classic cars and classic trucks while we were there too). It was only a half hour walk, so ideal to feel you have worked off a little of the food!

Peace and quiet at the foot of Mont Ventoux
Holiday house (Gîte) L'Atelier is spacious, fully equipped and very well kept. The Gîte has it's own garden where you can have your meal any time of the day, a BBQ set is at your convenience and though the Gîte is located next to the pool privacy is well kept. There are two more Gîtes on the property which is situated high on the slope of the Ventoux, with views of the countryside. The small town of Bédoin is close by but not in sight. Absolute tranquility is guaranteed. The friendly owners - who live on the property - make you feel welcome and are there if you need them.
There are numerous small towns and villages in the vicinity. Crillon le Brave is 10 km away and hosts one of the most luxurious hotels around. Take lunch or dinner there and enjoy the amazing site of the landscape from the rim of the hill the hotel is located on. Aside from the big names in the wine industry of the Vaucluse (Gigondas, Chateauneuf du Pape, Cairanne, Vaqueyras etc), the Ventoux wine region offers fine wine makers and cellars, like the Chateau Valcombe or La ferme St Pierre. Delicious wine to be tasted and enjoyed abound. Excursions to Avignon, Orange are easily made. And if you can stand a little longer drive the Camarque, Arles, Marseille and Aix-en-Provence are worth a day trip. Almost all towns and villages in the surroundings have their Marché Provençal (a market with local produce). You can spend everyday on a different market. The Dentelles de Montmirail are close by. From Suzette you can enjoy a magnificent view on these tooth-shaped mountain range, where wine grow on a elevated level. If you like hiking, one of the Grand Randonnées passes at the back of the property. Great walking but tiring. Bédoin is home of one of the largest assemblies of bikers throughout the year. Climbing the Mont Ventoux is the dream of a lot of amateur speed bikers. The Tour de France passes over the Ventoux every few years. We enjoyed our stay in the mix of reading and visiting places, drinking a good glass of wine and having meals based on local produce. And of course sometimes at a restaurant in the vicinity.
We can recommend this Gîte to everyone that seeks a combination of relaxing and activity, of culture and nature.

Staying in gîte at gorgous pool, with new kitchen and brand new renovated bathroom... Everything very cozy and clean! Great views into countryside, surrounded by vineyards. Welcoming and helpful hosts, highly recommended... We will be back!
