The house
In our B&B, in the middle of the beautiful nature of Departement Corrèze, you will find peace and quiet and the pure French Joie de Vivre: the ultimate holiday feeling.
Fleur de Lys Bleue is an old farm from the year 1898 and the natural stone barn dates from 1959. We are at approx. 450 mtr. above sea level and the estate is 5.000m² in total.
We have our own water well and an old bread oven. The oven is currently not in use, but who knows what the future will bring. The old main road used to run between the farm and the barn. The new main road is now at 500 mtr. distance. That same road is also part of the route to Santiago de Compostella and Rocamadour.
Whether you want to go out every day or just relax in an easy chair, our chambres d'hôtes is the ideal base. We are close to the beautiful village of Treignac and Chamberet and between smaller authentic French villages with their local markets and speciality shops.

Fleur de Lys Bleue is situated in the middle of a nature reserve that is known as one of the cleanest in France; pure air, no chemical industry or heavy truck traffic. Only meadows, hills, woods and water is what you 'hear' and maybe the tractor of the neighbours or the car of our newly arrived guests...
There is a swimming pool to cool down and there is space to relax. Peace, space and above all enjoyment is our main attraction at the yard.

Wij hadden het vakantieappartement gehuurd voor ruim 3 weken. Overdag waren we aan het verbouwen aan ons vakantiehuisje in Chamberet. Jan en Conny zijn heel gastvrij en betrokken. We hebben heerlijk gebruik kunnen maken van het vakantieappartement. Als we terug kwamen van het klussen was er altijd belangstelling van Jan en Conny over de vorderingen die we die dag hadden gemaakt. We hebben goede herineringen aan ons verblijf. Het appartement heeft alles wat nodig is voor 2 personen. Een comfortabel bed, ruime douche en zitkamer met keuken. Een prachtig uitzicht over de vallei krijg je als toetje. Wij zijn heel positief en raden het verblijf zeer aan.

Wij hebben 4 dagen van de uitstekende gastvrijheid en prachtige bed and breakfast Fleures de Lys bleuen, van Jan en Conny Reus mogen genieten. Echt geen minpuntjes kunnen verzinnen.

Prachtige rustige omgeving op het platteland. Zeer ruime kamer met ruime badkamer en apart toilet. Zeer schoon, netjes, en uitermate stijlvol. Uitstekend bed, zeer ruim, met stevig linnengoed. Bij de gastenkamer zit een ruime, stijlvol ingerichte algemene ruimte met een koelkast waarin drankjes tegen redelijke prijzen verkrijgbaar zijn. Zelf verbrak noteren. Koffie en thee zijn de hele dag kosteloos verkrijgbaar. Op het aansluitende zonneterras met riante 2 deckchairs met heerlijke kussens kun je zonnen, een boek lezen of gewoon over de vallei uit kijken. De terrastrap af, naar de zeer ruime tuin biedt nog een aantal deckchairs en een liggen.
Het ontbijt is uitstekend met diverse soorten vers brood, croissants e diverse soorten beleg. Gastheer Jan en gastvrouw Conny zijn zeer vriendelijke, hartelijke en open mensen. Ik raad iedereen aan om hier te verblijven: zowel op doorreis als voor een (korte) vakantie. Er is te genoeg interessants te doen in deze prachtige omgeving.
Restaurants, food & wine
Apart from renting out guest rooms, we also offer table d'hôtes outside the high season. In consultation with our guests, and according to our own experience and fantasy, we compose a 2-course dinner. We then eat with all guests in Le Salon, or outside on the terrace in the garden.
Activities
The landscape of Corrèze is alternately hilly, which makes cycling and walking possible at various levels. In the vicinity there are 10 golf courses, 6 of which have an 18-hole course. Lac des Bariousses is the lake for relaxing water sports. You can rent canoes, pedal boats and surfboards.
