The house
DOMAINE D'ANGEL-MOUNTAIN
You can stay in our hospitable historical mansion (maison de maître),
the former farm of our family chateau, in Vezins-de-Levezou in the south of france.
North of Millau, 15 min.(14 km) from exit N°44.1 of the A75 motorway (direction Béziers, Montpellier and Spain!) ...
And 20 min. from the city of Millau !
One can sleep in our (family) rooms and/or "gîte de Séjour" ...
We have room for up to 15 people ( + sofa bed and/or extra bed)( Please feel free to ask about our possibilities ).
The "gîte de Séjour" has a large kitchen and the rooms have a small kitchenette.
The Domaine has a size of 26 ha. Our "maison-de-maître" with its stables were built in 1859,
at the request of Angel, the wife of the Marquis of Vezins at the time and the great-great-grandmother of Henri ...
It is a wonderful place to enjoy the rich history, the space, the peace, the nature, the stables and the horses !

In the south of France, just 14 km from exit N°44.1 on the A75 and 20 km north of Millau in the Aveyron,at an altitude of 950 metres ,
overlooking the village of Vezins-de-Levezou, Domaine d'Angel Berg is 200 metres from our family château.
Domaine d'Angel-Berg is a nature reserve (private)
of about 26 ha, with woods, springs , meadows and paths, just outside the village of Vezins-de-Levezou (Vezins)
Our farm (maison-de-maître) and its stables were built in 1859 at the request of Angel,
the grandmother of Henri, wife of the Marquis of Vezins at the time ...
In the village of Vezins ( 200m away) one finds a small convenience store with bakery (open Sundays & closed Mondays and Wednesday afternoons)
where one can find all the basic groceries one needs. There is also a post office and a pharmacy.
There are 2 restaurants nearby ( at 3 and 6 km) and even more in the neighbouring villages , where one can eat delicious food for a very reasonable price.
Millau, Sévérac le Château, Laissac, Pont-de-Salars et Salles-Curan are 20 minutes away.
Enjoy this wonderful place, rich in history, with its peace and quiet, nature and of course the stables and horses.

Heerlijke rust !
Een uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst op een prachtige locatie! Rust, natuur, stilte.... Mooi, nette kamer, alles was aanwezig. Verwend met een heerlijke uitgebreid ontbijt. We kregen alle tijd om ons klaar te maken, buiten te genieten van de zon, nog even te gaan wandelen in gezelschap van de honden,.... Cecile gaf ons een heel warme ontvangst. Uiterst vriendelijk en hartelijk, legde ons echt ik de watten!Damien from Ierland,

Op doorreis naar Spanje hier een nachtje geslapen in één van de familiekamers. De hoeve ligt op een prachtig landgoed en de kamer was gezellig ingericht en erg netjes. Cecile is een attente gastvrouw en het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid voor Franse begrippen! Vanaf de A75 is het ongeveer 20 min. rijden, maar echt de moeite waard!

French life is all about good wine and good food!
In the nearby villages you will find restaurants (3 and 6 km). The atmospheric city of Millau is 20 minutes away, where you can also have a nice dinner!
Also everywhere in the vicinity to enjoy!
There are wine regions (eg Côtes de Millau) where you can visit wine cellars and taste the wines!
See how the (sheep) cheeses are made, and taste of course, on the farm or at a fromagerie.
Roquefort is at 3 quarters of an hour driving distance!
The French cuisine is very versatile and several restaurants want you to enjoy it!
Or just enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine on a terrace.
Moreover, there are in the summer months Les Fêtes, the French (medieval) festivals, delicious food, drink and dance! Very atmospheric!
Of course there are also the atmospheric markets everywhere, with their colorful collection of all vegetables, fruits and herbs, olives and wines etc.
The warm welcome and inviting regional cuisine, make a holiday a real pleasure!

In the Aveyron, between the "Grands Causses" and the "Ségala", lies the plateau of the Levezou.
A beautiful nature reserve... Discover the many lakes (Parelloup, Pont de Salars, Villefranche de Panat),
the green valley of the Viaur and the "Gorges du Tarn" that start at Millau.

Our rates for the rooms and the Gite de Séjour are WITHOUT breakfast !
For stays of 1 night, our full breakfast is available upon reservation at 8 € p/p/night.
For longer stays, one is independent with kitchen or kitchenette !
There is a local shop with a bakery in the village 300m away.
Our rates include tourist tax.
Bed-bath and kitchen linen are provided ! (free of charge)
With us at Domaine d'Angel-Berg, you can stay in our rooms and/or "Gite de Séjour".
We also have the infrastructure to accommodate riders & their horses.
We offer boarding in boxes or on land for the horses.
