Malfay

The late medieval, characteristic, robust GITE MALFAY is detached and consists of 2 parts. The old house is built of thick stone walls and is built against the mountain, containing 4 bedrooms and 2 simple shower rooms with toilet. The garden house containing a kitchen, living room and adjoining terrace is located opposite the old house. The gite is beautifully situated at the end of a steep mountain road with a few vicious bends at the end, quite a challenge the first time. The Gite is surrounded by several terraces with trees and magnificent views over the Ardèche mountains. Around the Gite are several seating areas. The swimming pool is 1.40 deep with a diameter of 8.40 metres and a sun terrace with 4 loungers and 4 ordinary chairs. On a clear day, the snowy peaks of the Alps can be seen in the distance. The Gite is suitable for 2 to 8 people who love cosy simplicity and peace in nature.

Gite MALFAY has a ground floor and an upper floor. The latter with a single wooden plank floor. Both the upper and lower floors can be entered from outside via a private entrance.

Ground floor:
In front of the master bedroom there is a terrace with a table and 5 chairs.
The large living kitchen has a sofa bed, The living kitchen has a kitchen, a large wood stove, a seating area and a table with 4 chairs.

Next to it is a room with a double bed; (2.00 m by 1.60 cm)

Between the rooms a basic bathroom with stone walls and a simple shower, toilet and sink.

First floor:
A large room with four single beds; ( 1.90 m by 90 cm).
A small room with a double bed; ( 1.90 m by 1.40 m).
A room with storage for the beds of the chairs, Containing, between walls of large stones, a toilet, simple shower with sink and washing machine.

At Gite Malfay, a separate 'garden house has been built under the cherry trees , with spectacular views. It houses a kitchen and a living room. The kitchen has a small dining table (6 to 8 people) with 8 chairs. As a rule, this outdoor kitchen is used as a dining room, but the terrace is also very suitable for this purpose. The outdoor kitchen is equipped with a fireplace, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, simple gas cooker with oven and a dishwasher.
A terrace (with a table and 6 chairs) adjoins the outdoor kitchen at the front and from there there is also a beautiful view of the Ardèche mountains.
In the living room you will find a 3-seater sofa, a 2-seater sofa and 2 easy chairs from where you can marvel at the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the mountains. The living room opens onto the rear terrace where a table with 4 chairs and a parasol await you.
