The house
In the main house, there is a cosy living/dining room, a spacious open kitchen and, on the mezzanine floor, a double bedroom with its own bathroom with bathtub/shower, washbasin and WC.
Via the covered passage you reach a spacious double bedroom with separate bathroom, with bath/shower, washbasin and WC. This bedroom is separate and only accessible from the outside. In the cave there is a washing machine, an extra sink and an extra cooker.
All rooms have been neatly renovated and the bathrooms and sanitary facilities are (fairly) new, fresh and clean.
Both before and behind the house is a terrace with seats and also one can have breakfast and / or lunch outside under the roof of the passage where it is always cooler, in case it would be very hot.
The private swimming pool measures about 10x5 and its depth varies from about 1 metre to 2.20 metres and has built-in steps at the end.
The house, which can normally accommodate up to six people, will not be rented out to any other party at the same time.
The local, English speaking, contact person maintains the pool weekly.

La Garenne is situated at the end of a private road on a hill. Approximately in the middle of an area of approximately two and a half hectares is the old silk farmhouse, which is probably over two hundred years old, with a beautiful wide view towards the old knight's village of Poët-Laval. Close to the house is the private swimming pool. On the other side of the old wall, with which the terrain is largely enclosed, nature begins, where it is beautiful to walk.
La Garenne is situated in the Drôme Provençale, 30 kilometres east of Montélimar. It is located between the villages of Dieulefit and La Bégude de Mazenc. In the midst of this hilly terrain, La Garenne is situated on approximately 2 hectares of private land and thus offers seclusion and privacy. The view from La Garenne on the medieval village of Le Poet Laval is fabulous!
Dieulefit lies at the foot of the Provencal mountains. Without having to travel any great distance you can already enjoy the beautiful panoramas around the village of Comps. Information on walks and other outdoor activities can be obtained from the Dieulefit tourist office.
The nearest shop is in Poët-Laval (2km) or La Bégude de Mazenc (5km). The town of Dieulefit with all amenities is 8 km away.

Prachtige, magische plek in de natuur met een ontspannen sfeer, waar je je uitstekend als groep kunt vermaken, maar ook in en kleiner gezelschap een knus plekje op kunt zoeken. Genoten!!

Fantastische plek en huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Fijn groot zwembad. Wat een rust om van te genieten. Ook lekker veel ligbedden met prima kussens. Er zou iets aan het onverharde weggetje gedaan mogen worden verder is het alleen maar top

Magnifique la Garenne. Heerlijke week gehad en van alles genoten: huis, terrassen, tuin, natuur, zwembad en gezelschap. Veel te zien in de omgeving. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Wilde paarden, vos, slang , ree, groene spechten gespot. Een groot aanbod van restaurants maakte het vakantiegevoel compleet.

Many restaurants in the area, from simple pub to several stars, there is plenty of choice. Delicious regional menus. All known wine regions of the Côtes-du-Rhône are easily accessible: Tricastin, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Die, Hermitage, Gigondas etc. Gastronomes and wine lovers will have a great time in the Drôme!
Activities
Hiking, cycling, mountain biking, parasailing, fishing and horseback riding directly in the vicinity. Waves, canoeing, mountain climbing a little further away. Beautiful location for trips to one of the many beautiful villages and towns of the Drôme and Vaucluse; to one of the nice weekly markets or just a trip through the beautiful landscape of the Drome.

Further remarks
Saturday is change day. Arrival from 4 pm, departure before 10 am. Dogs are welcome, but only after consultation. Linen is possibly for rent. Bring your own towels and beach towels. Prices do not include cleaning and/or linen hire.
High season = July, August (from 29 June to 30 August) and May holidays;
Mid season = other dates in May, June, Easter and Crocus holidays and Sept. and Oct.
Low season = November till April. (swimming pool closed)
