The house
At the gates of Provence Idyllically situated on a small river is our converted 1850s silk factory with several accommodations.
To the side of the large building is this holiday home with its own garden, terrace/porch.
The holiday home is fully equipped, shower, toilet, sink, kitchenette with fridge, cooker and utensils and a sitting room.
The 4-person holiday home has a living room-kitchen with toilet on the ground floor with 2 doors to the terrace 1 bedroom and a sleeping area on an elevation.
We also have spacious rooms with toilet and shower, The rooms sentence including a breakfast buffet.
You can also use the summer kitchen with fridge and cooking facilities.
There you have views over the river and plenty of privacy.
The 6-person holiday is fully equipped, shower, toilet, sink, kitchenette with fridge, cooker and utensils and dishwasher.
The 6-person holiday home has a living room-kitchen with toilet on the ground floor with 2 x 2 patio doors to the terrace.
On the 1st floor 1 bedroom and a toilet and shower.
On the 2nd floor 2 spacious bedrooms with a washbasin.
The large grounds of the tavern, is for all present guests and borders the small river Jabron and is ideal for cooling off.
A few times a week there is table d'hotes. You will not be bored.
You can enjoy the flowering and fragrant lavender from mid-June to mid-July.

Idyllically situated by the river Jabron in the Drôme Provençale. It is a multifaceted area that stimulates all your senses. The sight and smell of the many lavender and sunflower fields, the taste of pastis, olives and Picodon (goat's cheese), the mountains, picturesque villages, the wind and the sun shining in the sky blue ...
Culture, nature, rest and activities, something for everyone. Our converted tavern is located very centrally, you can visit in no time, all kinds of nice villages with the famous Provencal markets and unforgettable sights.
In fifteen minutes drive to Montelimar, where you can enjoy shopping. From the backyard you can follow a number of walking routes or you can take your bicycle to explore the area. Some of the many villages in the area that are worth visiting:
- Poet Laval (One of France's 100 most beautiful villages)
- Mirmande (One of France's 100 most beautiful villages)
- La Garde Adhemar (One of France's 100 most beautiful villages)
- Grignan (Castle and theme markets)
- Dieulefit (Village of pottery and artists)
- Nyons (Olives and olive oil, Thursday morning market)
- Montelimar (Nougat and shopping and cultural city)
Actually, all villages in the area are worthwhile, often strategically located against mountain walls or on hills.

We serve ourselves a regular table d'hôtes but there are plenty of good and nice restaurants in the neighbourhood where we like to advise and possibly help with reservations.
The many local Provencal markets have many organic products, a delight to browse around.
Activities
From 1 to 8 July 2023, we will organise a lavender walking week with table d'hôtes and a pick-nick after the walk.
Also in the weeks from 17 June to 1 July we walk along lavender fields

In addition to this holiday home, there is a second holiday home for 4 people on the premises.
We also have 4 spacious rooms with toilet and shower and a sitting area, for maximum 3 persons from € 60,00 / night, incl. breakfast.
The rooms can use the summer kitchen with fridge for the preparation of simple (hot) meals
Cleaning and linen :
- Linen package € 15,00 per person.
- Final cleaning of the flat € 40,00 / € 50,00.
