The house
Our holiday home is a detached house with its own entrance and private garden and terrace. You enter in the kitchen with sitting area. The staircase leads to the landing of the first floor where there is a bathroom (shower plus toilet) and a separate toilet.
A small staircase leads to the double bedroom. Next is a living room with wood-burning stove. This living room is also accessible from the outside (stairs and balcony). On the landing there are stairs to the attic. In the first section are 2 single beds, in the second section are 2 more single beds. Due to the construction of the house, stairs are inevitable and our holiday home is not suitable for people who are wheelchair-dependent or have difficulty walking. Our prices are based on a stay of 4 persons. There is a surcharge for person numbers 5 &6.

Our gîte is on the edge of the small village of Quincerot, opposite Quincerot Castle. Within minutes you walk out of the village, into nature. IN Quincerot live about 90 people. There are no shops, you have to go to Montbard ( approx. 10 min. by car) or a bit further to Semur-en-Auxois.
3 times a week the baker comes by and you can buy fresh croissants and baguettes.

Dat het huisje een aparte indeling had wisten we; dat staat duidelijk omschreven.
We troffen een heel schoon huis aan, met een prima bed en een prima douche. En horren voor de ramen, dat hebben we niet vaak gezien!

Onze binnentuin is ruim, maar inderdaad niet geschikt om uw hond te laten rennen.
Gelukkig is er genoeg uitlaat gelegenheid wanneer u de poort uitgaat.

Wij hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad.
Het huis was perfect: rustig gelegen, mooie tuin met terras, keuken van alle gemakken voorzien, fijne badkamer en kamers, goede bedden, schoon. Tijdens de hitte bleef het binnenshuis heerlijk koel. En Astrid en Marc zijn een prima gastvrouw en -heer.
Wij hebben hele mooie ritten gemaakt door prachtige stadjes, langs kastelen, wijngaarden en mooie natuur, en natuurlijk gestopt voor een wandeling, bezichtiging of een restaurant.
Overal hebben we heerlijk gegeten of hebben we zeer goede producten kunnen kopen voor een zelfgemaakte maaltijd met een fles wijn.Comment from Marc & Astrid Strategier

Restaurants, food & wine
Experience the Burgundian life! There are several restaurants in the area. We have collected the 20 most favourite restaurants of us and our guests and put them in an E-Book. Ask for it when you have booked.
The Bourgogne is known for its good wines. There are beautiful wine routes to drive, and of course to taste. At several wine chateau's you can taste and/or get a guided tour. If you go to Auxerre, you will pass Chablis, the place of the famous white wine. If you go via Dijon to Beaune, you will find many famous wine houses there. On Tuesday, there is a big cosy market in Dijon with all the regional specialities. The Côte d'Or lies just below the Champagne region, which is also worth a day trip.
Activities
Beautiful surroundings for walking without having to get into the car first. We have several brochures, walking books and self-guided walks.
In the surroundings are many attractions, such as the Abbey of Fontenay, the beautiful town of Flavigny (known from the movie "Chocolat) The sources of the Seine, Avallon, Vézelay, Noyers-sur-Serein, Forge de Buffon,
