The house
Le Romarin is a spacious and bright holiday home surrounded by a large garden, swimming pool and terrace located next to a medieval castle.
The living room with sofa and rattan chairs has a fireplace. The kitchen has a 6-burner cooker, oven with rotisserie, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is good Wi-Fi coverage.
There are five bedrooms; on the ground floor one bedroom with a large double bed. On the first floor are three bedrooms, each with two single beds and one room with a single bed. Plenty of storage/hanging space in the antique furniture. Two bathrooms with shower and two toilets. Separate laundry room for washing, drying and ironing. The terrace has a large table with up to 9 chairs, a bbq, recliners and seating areas. A large swimming pool for cooling down in the hot summer months.
Holiday home Le Romarin is very suitable for a large family or two couples with children. Dogs are welcome. The surroundings invite you to take long walks with the dog.
Even in the low season and around Christmas, the gite is a home away from home, warmly decorated and equipped with every comfort. A haven of peace for people who want to get away from it all.

The village of Magny lès Jussey is completely surrounded by oak and beech forests. The surroundings are hilly with agriculture and arable farming. Every season has its colours, smells and sounds (e.g. in October the bleating of deer). The baker comes every day with baguettes and croissants. In Jussey, at 8 kilometres, you will find a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, post office, doctor, restaurants.

Als je houdt van rust in een prachtige omgeving is dit een aanrader.
Het huis is groot, net en comfortabel.
Mooi ingericht met een zeer gerieflijke keuken. De tuin is zalig, met zicht op een kasteel en een wei vol schaapjes. De kinderen hebben meer in dan uit het zwembad gespeeld. Gastvrouw Loes is zeer behulpzaam en beantwoordt met plezier al je vragen. Ze brengt halverwege je verblijf schone handdoeken, een extraatje dat zeer op prijs werd gesteld! Een fijn, compleet ingericht huis in een prachtige omgeving! Loes is een hartelijke gastvrouw. We hebben volop edelherten horen burlen, heel bijzonder. Een absolute aanrader deze gite.

Een prima huis, met privacy, zitjes rondom het huis en een zwembad om af te koelen bij warm weer. Het huis heeft een complete inrichting. Loes is een leuke gastvrouw die contact legt wanneer nodig. Voor wie van een rustige omgeving houdt is dit zeker een aanrader. Kortom een prima verblijf.
Restaurants, food & wine
There are nice restaurants in villages nearby. You will find the addresses in the gîte. The Haute-Saône has its own regional products such as various cheeses, sausages and wines; Coiffy, Champlitte. In the Jura, Arbois you will find the famous 'vin-jaune'.
Activities
It is an excellent hiking area. You can walk here for hours without meeting anyone. You can walk in the ancient beech and oak forests. And along the Saône, too, it is beautiful walking. Hiking routes can be found in the cottage. The paths are easy to walk on, but good walking shoes are required if your walks last more than an hour. The Haute Saône in Eastern France is also very suitable for cyclists and mountain bikers, joggers and trail running. You can start right from the holiday home Le Romarin.
Swimming only in summer; there is a 6.5 x 3.5 metre swimming pool at Le Romarin.
Canoeing; you can borrow our canoe (for two people) for a small fee or rent one nearby.
Visit cosy markets nearby, or museums in Besancon, Dijon, relax in thermal baths in Luxeuil Les Bains.
