The house
We welcome you to the Bousset watermill, located on a 7 ha estate at the end of a dead end road. In the sunny south of Burgundy, in the beautiful natural park of the Morvan. On a private lake of over 1.5 ha, the Etang de Bousset, full of carp. The location is truly paradisiacal: a lovely accommodation, a house for 6 persons for people who love peace and quiet and natural beauty.
At the back you have a shady garden with a beautiful lounge to relax. The lake is fed by the Tillot and flows into the Roche, rivers of the first category, i.e. they contain trout and are among the cleanest in France. Next to the mills, the water flows down via a few waterfalls, les cascades de Bousset. All this is surrounded by forests and meadows in a beautiful hilly landscape. The area offers many opportunities for cycling, mountain biking, hiking and fishing. Maps are at your disposal.
We offer you a lake where you can use the canoes. A beautiful terrace on the lake. Outdoor/Indoor bar and restaurant.

Prima plek met alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn. Een beugeltje hier of daar is een uitkomst. :)

We hebben een geweldige week gehad in Maison Moulin Bousset. Het is een prachtige locatie aan het (ondiepe) water, waarin je kunt 'pootje baden en waar de ijsvogel regelmatig langskomt. Enorm hartelijke ontvangst door de eigenaren van Resort Bousset, die op verzoek ook een prima ontbijt verzorgen (naar keuze op het sfeervolle terras of in het huisje). Helaas door Corona geen BBQ-avond etc. kunnen meemaken, maar wel een hele goede gas-BBQ kunnen gebruiken. Huis is prima, slaapkamers en bedden goed, keuken eenvoudig, maar zeker voldoende met oven, wasmachine en nieuwe koelkast en diepvries. De badkamer is wel vrij klein en verouderd. Al met al een heerlijke week in een geweldige omgeving!

Wij zijn heel blij dat jullie genoten hebben. De keuken is inmiddels aangepast met meer luxe. Vaatwasser is geïnstalleerd :) Boven waar de badkamer met toilet aanwezig was, is alleen de wc met wasgelegenheid overgebleven. Beneden is er een ruime badkamer met bad erbij getrokken. Al met al een verbeterde badkamers :)
Activities
Somewhere hidden in the village of Chiddes in the Burgundy, the Morvan lies a little paradise. A real french mill house situated on a private lake where you can go swimming or canoeing. Next to the house you will find the waterfalls that flow down from the lake about 4 meters high.
At less than 50 meters there is a bar, restaurant and a terrace on the water where you can enjoy a snack and a drink in the high season. At the resort you can also make use of the fitness, a pool billiard and the room where events are organized. A small walk through our private forest is also possible. In short, you are in the middle of nature where you can enjoy the tranquility. Feeding carp, spotting the kingfisher and admiring various other animals.
