Inside you will find all the comfort you need and in winter you can warm yourself in front of the woodstove. In the surroundings of the house you can take lovely walks.

The house suitable for 8 persons is located in Cossaye, a small village with about 700 inhabitants. Here you will find an unspoilt and natural environment with lots of green. It is crossed by the Loire and is dominated by water thanks to its ponds and its mills. It is a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet and for the fishing enthusiast, it is excellent. You will also appreciate the small paths that are very suitable for walking, both through the forest and along the side channel of the Loire. During your walk, enjoy the meadows, the habitat of cows and sheep.
From the accommodation you can walk straight into nature and enjoy the surrounding meadows and absolute silence, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings together.

We hebben met twee gezinnen een week op deze fantastische plek gelogeerd en genoten van de rust, ruimte, vergezichten (met een gezellige kudde koeien die elke dag kwam buurten) en de prachtige inrichting van het huis. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien en comfortabel en sfeervol ingericht. We zijn allerhartelijkst ontvangen en Sylvia stond direct voor ons klaar als we een vraag hadden of er iets geregeld moest worden. Ook Jan heeft ons van tevoren goed geholpen met de vragen die we hadden. Het loopje naar het dorp 's ochtends om broodjes te halen bij de bakker was erg plezierig en we hebben een geweldige avond gehad bij de pizzeria, waar we erg gastvrij werden ontvangen. We komen graag eens terug!

Wat een gastvrije ontvangst en heerlijk verblijf! Het huis is voorzien van alle gemakken, met veel zorg ingericht en heeft heel veel sfeervolle details. Ook de buitenruimte is fijn. Een grote tuin, met altijd plekjes in de zon en schaduw, verschillende zitplekjes en zelfs een grote overdekte ruimte met ook weer een zitje en eettafel. Naar het dorpje (met café, bakkertje en minimarket!) is het vijf minuten fietsen en vanaf het huis kun je mooi wandelen en fietsen.

The farm is located in Cossaye, Cossaye is a small municipality in the French department of Nièvre (Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region). Burgundy is known for its excellent wines that make every Frenchman smile. The wine regions of Bourgogne are mainly known for their red wines (Pinot Noir) but also for their white wines.
In the surroundings of Cossaye are a number of nice towns/villages to explore by car or bicycle, recommended;

In one of these cities, you can enjoy a culinary dinner and delicious wines (find and reserve a table in a nice restaurant in advance).

It is a great place to enjoy the peace and quiet and for the fishing enthusiast, it is excellent. Please note that for each time you prepare to fish, you are required to have a pond fishing licence with you (day, night, or year). This permit can easily be obtained at the town hall of Cossaye, bar 777 or at the Fisherman's shelter in nearby Decize.
You will also appreciate the small paths that are very suitable for walking, both through the forest and along the side channel of the Loire. During your walk, enjoy the meadows, the habitat of cows and sheep.
