The house
Our spacious, detached house "LaBelleMorvandelle", has a large living room (52 m2) with open kitchen, two lovely sofas and an armchair, a dining table with six chairs, TV with Dutch and foreign channels, wifi is free to use. The entire house has central heating, there is a wood-burning stove in the living room and a stocked bookcase.
Kitchen equipment: 6-burner gas hob with wok burner, fridge, freezer, oven with grill, dishwasher, coffee and nespresso machine. On the ground floor there is a toilet and bathroom with walk-in shower and washing machine. On the first floor are two bedrooms with good beds and a second toilet. Adjacent to the house is an enclosed garden of 500 m2 with a beautiful wooden terrace of 6.30 m x 3.50 m and to the side a large garden / orchard c.q. playground of approx. 3500 m2.
Changeover day is on Sunday (due to traffic, this is most favourable).

Our house "LaBelleMorvandelle" is located at the edge of the quiet village of Larochemillay, in the Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan, with a beautiful view of the Morvan hills. The Grande Randonnée nr 13 runs along our house; a fantastic area for walking and cycling, but it is also wonderful to drive along the winding, quiet roads in search of picturesque, unspoilt villages and hamlets. Or go in search of the village of Asterix and Obelix. On Mont Beuvray, excavations are underway of the Gallic village of Bibractum, where Vercingetorix went to war against the Romans in 52 B.C. In the "Bibracte" museum, you can find out more about its history.

We vonden dit een heel fijn huis. Het is ruim, praktisch(cv wat heel prettig is in een koude meiweek) en daarnaast ook nog smaakvol ingericht. Zoals al in meerdere recensies benoemd is het ook heel compleet ingericht en heeft het een prachtig uitzicht. We vonden de communicatie met de eigenaar heel soepel verlopen, hij reageert ook heel snel. Het huis ligt in een dorp dus er komt wel wat verkeer langs maar dat blijft binnen de perken. Al met al zeer voor herhaling vatbaar.

We hebben hier nu een week vakantie doorgebracht en nog een week te gaan. Nog niet eerder hebben we zo'n compleet en comfortabel vakantiehuis gehuurd. Echt een fijn huis. Prachtig uitzicht, mooie tuin met veel vogels en rustige omgeving. Echt genieten.

Restaurants, food & wine
The Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan is located in Burgundy. The Burgundian loves a good meal, combined with an exquisite wine: Charolais beef, Bresse chicken, Morvan game, Saône crayfish. Good Burgundy wines are available everywhere, both in the chateaux (around Beaune, Nolay) and in the supermarket.
Activities
There is plenty of opportunity for hiking, where you can discover more with a map, cycling, swimming in the pool in Luzy or in the lakes nearby (Lac des Settons). Culture seekers will find numerous museums, churches and abbeys in the Morvan and the rest of Burgundy, e.g. in Autun, excavations in Bribacte, Nevers, Vézelay (on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela), Fontenay, Saulieu. In the summer there are many markets, flea markets / brocantes.

"LaBelleMorvandelle" offers all possibilities to completely unwind. The rural environment combined with the luxury of the house and the possibilities for activities in the vicinity, guarantee a fantastic holiday. In Larochemillay itself there is a restaurant and a tea room. For shopping you can go to Luzy (11 km). There you will find all the necessary shops, such as a Lidl and B1, restaurants, etc.
N.B. The prices mentioned below are inclusive of heating, electricity and water, but exclusive of final cleaning € 50.00 and deposit € 150.00.
