The house
On the barrier-free ground floor of 50 m2 are the sitting room (with wifi and TV with satellite dish), the kitchen (with everything for your cooking and eating enjoyment such as gas cooker, microwave/oven, food processor, blender, kettle, coffee machine, toaster etc) with doors opening onto the partially covered terrace, bathroom (with spacious shower, glass washbasin and washing machine) and toilet.
Upstairs, under the old oak beams, are two spacious bedrooms, without a hallway in between, each with a double bed (2m long).

The house is situated at the edge of a rural village in Southern Burgundy, just south of the Regional Park "the Morvan". It used to be a rich village so there are many beautiful houses and relatively many amenities, such as a good bakery a few dozen meters from the house, an ATM and a supermarket. From the house you can see and hear the church bell. Around the village you will find meadows with white Charolais-cows, that are still grazing with their calves, and many forests. Here and there a little town where there is something more to do. And many rivers and streams.
Nearby are historic cities, charming typical French villages, castles, museums, weekly markets and in the summer plenty of flea markets.

Het Zonnehuis is een prachtig huis. Heel smaakvol ingericht met 2 ruime slaapkamers en alles voorhanden. Het ligt in een prachtige omgeving en is zeker een aanrader als je van rust houdt. Bakker op 100 stappen afstand. Wij hadden leuk contact met de verhuurster, die zeer behulpzaam en gastvrij is. Écht een aanrader en voor herhaling vatbaar!!!

Vergeten een recensie te schrijven. Maar alsnog. Het was een geweldig huis. Met smaak ingericht. Alles was aanwezig. 2 ruime slaapkamers. Je moet wel door de voorste slaapkamer heen om de trap af te kunnen, wat ons niet stoorde. De eigenaresse was uitermate vriendelijk. Mochten zelfs van haar grote tuin gebruik maken omdat daar meer schaduw was. Ook konden wij onze fietsen stallen in haar grote schuur. De bakker zit inderdaad om de hoek. Ook een klein supermarktje is er in het dorp met een terrasje. Supermarkten op rij afstand. Het is een prima omgeving om te fietsen, wat wij elke dag deden. Heerlijk rustig. Alles was aanwezig in het huis. Kortom wij komen er vast nog wel een keer.

Ideale plek voor vakantie. Vriendelijk ontvangst en zeer behulpzame eigenares.
Het huisje geeft je het gevoel van thuis zijn, alles is aanwezig. Prima bedden en douche. Bakker en supermarket op steenworp afstand. Ligging rustig en vrij. Omgeving is prachtig. Heerlijk wandelgebied.

In a nearby village, there is a very good and attractively priced restaurant.
In the middle of the fields and along a canal, you will find this cute restaurant where they cook delicious food and you eat comfortably under the big linden tree.
In the nearest town on the Loire several restaurants and eateries.
Three large wine regions; the Rhone valley, Chablis and Sancerre/Pouilly Fume, are at 1 to 2 hours driving distance.
Activities
You can walk everywhere in the neighbourhood. There are many small roads with little traffic. There are also marked walks.
Many rivers and fishponds in the neighbourhood. For this you need a fishing licence, which you can get directly from the tourist office and use against payment. There are day, week, month and season cards.
French lessons for beginners can be arranged on special request. The programme will be adapted to your wishes. And can be put into practice immediately.
Along the two big rivers, the Loire and the Allier, one finds numerous almost deserted beaches and canoeing is possible.
There is also a 9-hole golf course.

Further remarks
The house used to be a cooperative agricultural shop; we have turned it into a home. The interior is comfortable, tastefully decorated and fully equipped. Still with all the authentic details, such as the beautiful old, oak beams in the bedrooms and downstairs. Next door is a large, old, wooden "hangar", which used to belong to the cooperative.
Terrace and garden are equipped with garden furniture, deck chairs, bbq and fire basket.
The property is completely enclosed and the car can be parked on private property.
Pets are allowed.

The deposit is 150 euros. Mandatory cleaning fee is 50 euros.
We expect tenants to be third-party insured.
395 euros per week is for an occupancy of 2 persons. For each additional person we charge 50 euros per week or part thereof.
