St Hilaire Fontaine is a picturesque village on the Loire in the region of Nièvre (Burgundy).
The houses are located on numerous hiking and biking trails, about 1km from the Loire where you can swim and fish (permit available at the town hall). From this holiday home you can visit several cities: Decize (13km), Bourbon Lancy (20km), Moulins (30km), Nevers (45km) where you can go for your shopping(supermarkets), shopping, restaurants, cafes, sightseeing, museums... For the motorbike enthusiasts, the Magny-cours circuit is in the vicinity. Also national park Morvan is at a good half hour drive, one of the most beautiful nature reserves of France.
