The house
In the west wing of this Templar Commandery, a gîte has been created, where one can enjoy a restful stay in a historical setting, surrounded by a 7,5 ha park, with a Romanesque chapel with mural frescoes from the 12th century, the commander's residence, the façade of which was rebuilt in the Renaissance, and the large storage barn.
The only gîte on the site can accommodate 4 to 6 people, with living room, kitchen, 2 or 3 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, 3 WCs, shower.

Heerlijke week gehad op het terrein van de gastheer en gastvrouw. Prachtige plek om tot rust te komen, maar ook ideaal als uitvalbasis voor de leuke plaatsen langs de Loire. We waren hier met onze 2 kinderen van 13 en 16 en die hebben zich prima vermaakt, waarbij het zwembad natuurlijk erg helpt. Mooi om te zien dat Phillip elke bezig is op het terrein en de communicatie met Ines liep erg soepel. Oftewel wij hebben genoten!

Prachtige gite, mooi zwembad, hartelijke eigenaren die zich met hart en ziel inzetten voor het behoud van deze historische gebouwen en het landgoed. We komen er al voor de tweede keer!

The estate is thus an ideal destination for resting in peace, in idyllic surroundings, steeped in history and myth, either as a stop on a journey to the south or as a base from which to explore the various sights in the area.
