Our completely renovated holiday home is at the end of a dead end road. Located at the edge of a forest, in the middle of meadows and with the only neighbour being the owner of the holiday home! This beautiful area, bordering on the National Park of the Morvan, is known for its tranquility and natural beauty. The house stands with its back to the forest, and looks out over the meadows at the front. You can hear and see wild boars, deer, birds of prey and dozens of white cows. The meadows around the farm are rented out to a French farmer. In Semelay, 5 minutes away, you will find a delicious restaurant. In Luzy, about 15 minutes by car from the house, you can buy all the necessities of life. In Luzy there is a Dutch speaking doctor, a swimming pool, several shops and a veterinarian.

The holiday house stands next to our farm (about 50 mtr, shielded by trees).

The holiday house consists of a large living room with wood stove and open kitchen, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate toilet. In the room in front of the bathroom 2 more beds can be placed so that in total 6 persons can stay. The house has central heating, wifi, Dutch TV, The enclosed garden makes the house suitable for your four-legged friends who are very welcome.
Garden furniture, a bbq and a trampoline are available. For your children there are further (board) games, a swing, an inflatable pool, a puppet show and a shop of Sinkel present.

Because of its location, this holiday home is an ideal base for nature and peace seekers, (amateur) photographers, stargazers, sporty cyclists and walkers. And also for children it is a paradise. There are plenty of playing facilities in the adjacent (fenced) woods and in and around the (fenced) holiday home, where your children can play safely. At 20 minutes distance there is an outdoor swimming pool and several playgrounds for the children. A few minutes away is a flowing river with a small beach, where on hot days French and Dutch families can be found. There are beautiful lakes in the area where you can swim and barbecue. These are generally within an hour's drive from here.

At about half an hour, three quarters of an hour's drive you will find places of interest such as Bibracte (old roman excavations), Guédelon, a castle in the making, which is completely built by volunteers according to medieval techniques and materials, a Buddhist temple and an amusement park. And of course, many beautiful villages and towns, churches and chapels. In Semelay, for example, you will find the oldest Romanesque church in the area. And of course, Burgundy is known for its wine and food. You will find plenty of that at markets, wine cellars and of course, every village has its own restaurant where you can eat a delicious French regional dish for little money!
