Le Tailleur

Welcome to Le Tailleur du Morvan, our delightful holiday home with all modern conveniences. Located in the south of natural park Le Morvan, it is nice to stay here in all seasons.

The house can accommodate up to 8 guests and has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a spacious bright living room with dining area and fireplace and a fantastic garden (5000m2) with heated pool. From the house there is direct access to the spacious terrace via both the kitchen and the living room.

The terrace has a dining table with chairs and a large parasol. A lovely place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner on sunny days. Adjacent to the terrace is the (heated) swimming pool (9.60 x 4.80), where you can relax on a lounger or in the shade under a parasol.

The garden has phenomenal views of the rolling hills of the Morvan. The garden is partly enclosed by a fence and largely by dense bushes and trees. Privacy guaranteed. On hot days it is lovely to sit (or lie in the hammock) in the shade of one of the beautiful oak, ash or birch trees in the garden.

House layout:
As you enter through the front door, you can immediately store your coat and (hiking) shoes in the hallway.

To the left is the entrance to the spacious kitchen where cooking enthusiasts will find their heart's content and which is fully equipped, including a pot-bellied stove. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, microwave, oven, nespresso coffee maker, kettle, blender, airfryer and more than enough pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. The spacious kitchen table is a lovely place to sit at breakfast, lunch or with a glass of wine while cooking. The terrace can be accessed via the kitchen.

Straight ahead you will find the spacious, bright living room (m2) with French windows opening onto the terrace. The living room is furnished with comfortable chairs, a lovely sofa and of course a fireplace where you can light a fire when the weather is chilly. Here you will also find the dining table with enough seating for the whole party. From the living room you also have access to a double bedroom (m2) with two single beds and a double bedroom with a bunk bed.

On the right side from the hall you enter the bathroom, here you will find a shower with massage jets, a washbasin and a toilet.

The stairs in the living room lead to the first floor. There are two spacious bedrooms with a double bed (180x200) in each room. The first bedroom has a washbasin, the second bedroom has an en suite bathroom with massage shower, toilet, washbasin and a romantic bathtub on legs. The washing machine is also located here. The second bedroom has a separate entrance/exit where you open onto a small balcony (lovely place for a cup of coffee in the morning sun) and is accessible via the stairs on the outside of the house.

All bedroom windows have mosquito nets and (blackout) curtains, including the velux windows on the first floor. On the ground floor, the bedrooms can be additionally darkened by closing the shutters.
