The house
Our detached house has a beautiful and cosy interior of a mixture between traditional French, brocante and antique. There is a spacious bedroom with a wardrobe for your clothes, a large heated bathroom and a separate toilet. All rooms are heated. In the living room there is a wood-burning stove with its original fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. Everything in the house is on the ground floor.
The house is situated in a dead-end street. There is a parking lot and a shed for your bikes, etc. The garden is enclosed and fenced with beech hedges. There is a very good wifi connection available both in the house and outside on the terrace. The house is out of season for a minimum of 3 nights.

From the gite you walk straight into the forest with many walking routes. From your terrace you look through the valley on the beautiful hills of the Morvan. There is also a village within walking distance with a shop for daily shopping and fresh bread.

Restaurants, food & wine
There are numerous restaurants in the immediate vicinity. From simple meals with a good glass of wine to culinary delights in Saulieu at Bernard Loiseau. For wine, you are of course in the right area. Burgundy is world famous for its great red and white wines, which are mainly produced from Pinot Noir (red) and Chardonnay (white).
Activities
You can walk directly from the gite through the hills and woods. But also walk the old roman path situated in our village.
You can make beautiful trips with your bike to the Roman city of Autun or along the beautiful lake Lac des Settons. If you have a mountain bike, there are many VTT tracks to explore.
In the historical city of Autun, you can make beautiful city walks, there is also a golf course. Don't forget to visit the beautiful cathedral and the many museums.
At about 20 minutes, you will find the Lac des Setton where you can practice various water sports.
The Morvan is also known for its beautiful roads for wonderful motorbike tours.
Beaune and Dyon are perfect to drive to taste the delicious wines or to visit the cities.

Your pet is welcome in our house after consultation.
Because the key is in a key box with a corresponding code, you can independently start and end your holiday. Of course I am at all times available by mail, sms or what's app.
