The house
On the ground floor, the entrance is through the kitchen with all the necessary amenities plus a wood stove for cooler evenings. To the right is the closed living room with a sofa-bed and an office area (wifi). Access to the first floor via a beautiful vintage staircase which opens onto a large landing serving the shower room, toilet and the bright bedroom with 2 single beds. If required, the two single beds can be changed and an extra bed can be added.
The gîte is located in the extension of our house and an outside space is dedicated to it. South-east facing.

At 8km from Tournus, exit on the A6 motorway. There is a lot to do in Burgundy: castles, Romanesque churches, nature reserve.
The gîte overlooks a green square.
The shops are accessible on foot in 10 minutes maximum: bakery, tobacco shop, hairdresser, supermarket, pharmacy...and recently a nursing home.
Direct access to beautiful walks without taking the car.

Cuisery is located at the entrance to the Bresse region of Burgundy, known for its chicken. Just cross the Saône to reach the vineyards of the Maconnais. There are various restaurants on site and a nice little market for fresh produce on Tuesday mornings.
Activities
Village situated on the banks of the Seille, a beautiful river in the Bresse region. Water sports centre with pedal boats and canoes for hire. A few kilometres from the nature reserve of La Truchère. Beautiful walks to be made and water which is never very far.
Cuisery also has the specificity of being a book village with many bookshops. We have various restaurants and a tourist office.
As a professional painter, I can organise some workshops in my showroom.
