The house
Barricant was originally a farmhouse in which many of the old details have been preserved. The beautiful courtyard offers a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. A dip in the pool completes the holiday. The house is on the edge of the forest and overlooks the meadows.
The house consists of several parts: the main house is suitable for eight people, with a very spacious dining kitchen on the ground floor, with dishwasher and washing machine, an old-style living room, a reading / sitting room and a toilet. You will find five bedrooms on the first floor. Two double rooms each with private bathroom with bath, two single rooms with one shared bathroom with bath and a bedroom with a single and a double room with shower room.
Adjacent to the main house is a large barn with garden furniture and for the children there is a table tennis table, swing and toys.

In Dompierre les Ormes, a few kilometers away, you will find a few shops, including a bakery. You are also close to the famous towns Cluny and Macon.

Heerlijk huis in een prachtige omgeving, koeien voor deur en een bijzonder uitzicht.
Perfecte plek om tot rust te komen zonder wifi met voldoende kleine dorpjes en een meer binnen 20 minuten rijden. Heerlijk genoten met 2 families, indeling van slaapkamers is top. Door het heerlijke weer alleen de keuken beneden gebruikt, Genoten onder andere van het zwembad, de pingpongtafel en BBQ.
Een nog hoger cijfer zal op zijn plaats zijn als er bedlinnen, handdoeken en kussens voor de ligstoelen aanwezig zouden zijn.

Een prachtig huis in 'the middle of nowhere'. Mooi gelegen aan het einde van een weggetje, helemaal in Franse Bourgogne sfeer. Stilte, schoonheid en rust. Ruim huis met 5 slaapkamers, keuken van alles voorzien en fijn zwembad. Het is wat gedateerd maar zeker een plek om terug te komen als je je even terug wil trekken en genieten van de stilte en ruimte. De communicatie met Rob was ook heel goed. Wij komen graag terug!

Wir haben einen Traumurlaub in Barricant verbracht.Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Es ist der reinste Luxus. Allein sechs Bäder zur Verfügung zu haben ist einzigartig. Wir waren 7 Erwachsene und 2 Hunde und jeder hat sich sehr wohlgefühlt nicht zu vergessen der herrliche Pool. In der Küche findet man alles was man zum kochen braucht. Der Innenhof war unser liebster Aufenthaltsort. Die Lage vom Barricant ist auch nur sehr zu empfehlen. Herr Hoogenboom ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Activities
The ideal location for nature lovers and lovers of space and tranquility. The swimming lake "Lac le St. Point" is only a few kilometers away. You can be in Cluny or Taizé within 20 minutes. The many castles and flea markets are certainly worth a visit. From the roche du Solutré you have a fantastic view over the Beaujolais, but don't forget to also enjoy the Burgundian wines. From the house you walk straight into the forest or take a nice walk along the meadows with the beautiful Charolais cows.

Buiten het hoogseizoen, juli en augustus, kunnen wij meestal afwijken van de wisseldag zaterdag.
De prijzen zijn exclusief schoonmaakkosten (€ 50), toeristenbelasting (0,55 per persoon per dag), huisdieren (€ 35,00 per huisdier per verblijf)
- Elektriciteit, voor gebruik boven de 350 kWh per week wordt € 0,12 per kWh in rekening gebracht, te verrekenen met de borgsom
- hout dat bij aankomst bij de haard ligt is inbegrepen, overig hout €4,00 per krat
- handdoeken "normale" handdoeken, twee per persoon, geen badlakens!
