The house
Wonderful for holidays: peace, nature and comfortable rooms in an easily accessible location in the Le Morvan regional nature park in France. About 3 hours from Paris. The castle with garden can be rented in its entirety for calm groups of up to 20 people. Please note: this accommodation is expressly not suitable for youth groups and student associations.
In summer you can enjoy the swimming pool.The château has a beautiful view over the surrounding landscape. It is a stately building and very comfortable. With 3 suites for 4 people and 4 bedrooms for 2, with 7 bathrooms. Due to the large lounge, separate dining room and spacious kitchen, there is also room and freedom with a larger group. A stay so pleasant that you won't want to leave!

- We would like to point out that you are not allowed to stay on the premises and in the house with more people than the number of people for whom you have reserved.

Wij waren met 14 personen, de helft kinderen en hebben genoten van een heerlijke week vakantie! Fijne locatie waar je in alle rust kunt ontspannen en ook actief kunt zijn. Heel mooie kamers met prachtig en zeer schoon sanitair. Een keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. De aparte spoelkeuken is ook erg fijn! Mooi zwembad, grote tuin en een super mooi uitzicht. Iteke en Ad zijn zeer gastvrij en doen er alles aan om je een fijne vakantie te laten beleven. In de omgeving genoeg te doen en te zien. Kortom, fantastisch!

If you enjoy culinary delights, you'll love to visit Saulieu, with the famous star restaurant of Bernard Loiseau. The beautiful city of Beaune is also perfect for a day trip. And for wine lovers, the route des grands crus with millions of vines and many wine tastings is not to be missed!
Activities
The area is beautiful, with walking routes and cycling opportunities. Various trips can be made by car. In the beautiful nature it is fantastic walking, cycling or water sports. The château is close to famous hiking trails such as Grande Randonnée "Tour du Morvan" and the Gorges de la Canche with waterfalls. Sporty touring cyclists can indulge themselves on the spicy slopes in the hilly landscape. Water lover? On the Lac de Pannecière and Lac des Settons reservoirs you can swim, sail, pedal boat and canoe, among other things. Those who love wilder water can go rafting on the Cure and Chalaux.

The historic town of Autun is only a 15-minute drive away. The excavation of the Gallo-Roman settlement Bibracte with museum is also very interesting. Here the real Vergincetorix lived and Julius Caesar worked on his book about the Gallic war!
The pilgrimage town of Vézélay with its cathedral and fantastic views from the city wall is particularly picturesque.
