The house
Gable End cottage benefits firstly from amazing panoramic views over Lac de Pelinec.
From entering the front door, you immediately go into the open plan downstairs living area. To the right is a fully fitted country style kitchen, with everything you will need for a self catering holiday. An electric oven, gas hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. To the left of the front door is the dining area with large farmhouse table, ideal for family meals. Leading on from the kitchen area is a large lounge, with the fantastic views over the lake. A tv with English and French channels and also DVD player.
Upstairs there is a master bedroom with Velux windows over looking the lake, with matching country pine bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers.The en-suite Shower room has a shower, toilet and handbasin. A second bedroom has two single beds and matching wardrobe. The third bedroom has a singe, bed with wardrobe. Both these bedrooms share a family bathroom with bath, toilet and hand basin.
Outside to the rear of the property is a large terrace over looking the lake with BBQ, wooden table and chairs.
To the front of the property is a lawned area with some chairs. This will lead to the fully fenced heated swimming pool, heated by a heat pump. A large selection of sun loungers, will allow you to relax and unwind. Within walking distance a few hundred meters of the Auberge de Pelinec.
The swimming pool is shared with the other two cottages ( one sleeping 5 and the other sleeping 8) on this site,
Adequate on site parking too.

Our cottage is located right by the Lac de Pelinec and has panoramic views over the lake. Great to watch the sun go down with a glass of local Breton cider . The award winning Auberge de Pelinec is a few metres away and ideal for a non cooking day !
The lake is well stocked with fish and night fishing is also allowed.

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans un gîte propre et bien équipé. David et Vanessa sont très avenants. Le gîte est au cœur de la Bretagne dans un environnement très calme et beau. Comptez de 30 minutes à une grosse heure pour les visites.

The Auberge de Pelinec is family run and offers an excellent value for money menu. Also try the local Crepes down near the Lake, sweet and savoury, so ideal for everyone in the family.
Activities
Central brittany is an ideal location to explore the beautiful Breton countryside, whether you want to walk, ride or just chill by the lake. The cottage over looks the tranquil Lac de Pelinec and has panoramic views from the rear balcony, This lake is well stocked with fish and permits can be purchased in the local shops. A few metres away is a fabulous Auberge de Pelinec, a family run restaurant which offer good home cooked food.
Not far away is the larger Lac de Guerledan which has Sandy beaches dotted around and all the water sports you could ever want. The Nantes to Brest canal is a short drive away and is ideal for waking and cycling
The three coastlines of Brittany are all within a one hours drive away.
Whatever your age, our location is perfect for an activities filled holiday or a holiday just chilling around the pool.

All bed linen is provided with beds made up on your arrival.shower and bath mats and drying up cloths also provided along with all cleaning material.
Wifi provided by 4G dongle.
The cottage is available from 5pm on your arrival day and must be vacated by 10am on your departure day. We ask all guests to strip the beds and leave the bed linen in a yellow sac provided.
A 200 euros security deposit is required and paid direct to us before arrival , will be refunded within 48 hours of departure. Directions to the gite will be sent after the security deposit has been paid.
The swimming pool is shared with the other two cottages that are on this site. Onky guests listed on the booking form are allowed access to the gated, heated swimming pool.
No pets are allowed.
