The house
This detached house is on the coast of northern Brittany. A five-minute walk from the famous Sentiers des Douaniers. The garden is 2000 m2.
The garden is not completely fenced in!
The house offers three bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower and well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room. TV with Dutch channels and good Wifi reception.
Downstairs you will find the washing machine. Sufficient garden furniture and a bbq.
The fridge in the kitchen has a freezer compartment. There is a combi oven microwave and a dishwasher.
The dimensions of the kitchen are not too large. At the table, you look out over the garden to the sea.
And in fine weather, the picnic table is waiting for you in the garden.
Under the entire house is a huge cellar/garage space.
We ask you not to smoke in the house.
The centre of Plouha is at 2 Km. A pleasantly busy village with several bakers, butcher, fish shops and supermarket.
On Wednesday morning, the weekly market is open until 12 o'clock, after which the cosy pubs and terraces fill up.

From the house you can walk to the sentiers des douaniers. The kilometres of walking paths along the coast.
Every time you will have a beautiful view over the sea and the rough coast. In spring the gorse flowers and colours the coastline yellow.
The falaises at Plouha are 100m high. The house is situated outside the village on a quiet road. Now and then a farmer will work his piece of land. Walking on the roads, you will come along the authentic houses, en pierre, with usually along the walls the Breton flower. The hydrangea. The flowers are very large and beautifully coloured.

Crepes and Galettes with cider. The oyster farms in Brehec. The many markets and fairs in each village or town.
Activities
Swimming, horse riding, golf, hiking, Gwin Zegal is about a 5-minute walk and then down a flight of stairs and you reach a beautiful spot.
The large riding school is less than 5 car-minutes away. You can rent a horse there or take a guided ride.
Golf courses are 6 km from the house. Mountain biking is also common.
There are a few old bicycles in the house. I am trying to replace these. As well as the picnic table that gave out last year. A new one will be bought asap. 2024

Further remarks
A special feature of Brittany is the enormous difference between low and high tide. Up to 11 to 15 metres. The sea pulls back a few hundred metres. This creates an enormous beach. Cars drive to the water to load and unload the boats. There is horse riding. Searching for mussels and other edible seafood.
