The house
Le Manoir du Bourg is a stunning 16th-century property consisting of three houses. Each house can also be rented separately as follows.
Le Manoir, sleeps 12 guests, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms.
Le Puits, sleeps 6 guests, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
Le Pigeonnier, sleeps 4 guests, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
The properties provide luxury accommodation for families, groups of friends or individuals looking for something a little bit special.
The property can be booked as all three houses or as single units. Each house has a fully equipped dining kitchen, modern bathrooms, individually designed bedrooms, satellite TV, DVD, wireless internet connection, BBQ's and outside seating area for “al fresco” dining.
If you are a large group using all three gites, please remember the biggest indoor dining space in Le Manoir is for maximum 12 guests. If you use crockery and utensils from the other gites please return these afterwards.
Cots and equipment for young children are available on request.

The Manoir is in the village of St Helen, close to Dinan in northern Brittany. It's just a minutes walk to the local bar where fresh bread and pastries are available.
The property is just a 12 minute drive from the stunning medieval city of Dinan.
Dinan is one of the best preserved small towns in Brittany. It is set high above the Rance River with 3km long ramparts, half-timbered houses, attractive art galleries and craft shops, cobbled streets lined with crooked, creaking half-timbered houses straight out of the Middle Ages. Dinan also has a 14th-century Castle and a 15th-century Clock Tower (Tour de l’Horloge). Climb the 158 steps to see the panoramic views from the top.
Léhon, just a 15 minute drive away, is proud to have the Petite Cité de Caractère (small City of Character) award for its preserved old town, cobbled streets, ornate facades, general all-round beauty and protected character.

At Le Manoir du Bourg, keen cooks will feel inspired to explore the surrounding area to discover the local delicacies, fine wines & cider, seasonal produce and of course the finest oysters on the planet.
Activities
The shared, heated swimming pool, 9m x 4m, with safe access via a gate, is open from 25/05/2024 - 30/09/2024.There is a tennis court adjacent to the property and a fishing lake a few minutes walk away.

A SPA (hot tub) will be installed. This can accommodate 5-6 guests. It will be heated to 37° and will be available to all guests at Manoir du Bourg. A booking system will be in place and in principle each gite will be able to use the facility for 1 hour per day, apart from the largest gite Le Manoir whose guests can use for 2 hours per day. Always maximum of 5-6 guests at the same time.
A private garden for guests next to Le Manoir has a large table, seats 12 people.
Bicycles can be hired locally and delivered to your gite!
There is an outdoor play area for children and a covered games area with table tennis and a pool table. Also an indoor den, “The Kid’s Room” – no adults allowed! This has a flat-screen TV and children's DVDs together with games and books. It is a great place for the youngsters to chill out.
