The house
Holiday home L'Etang Chapelle is a renovated farmhouse, in which 2 houses have been created. Both houses have a cosy room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms. One of the houses can be extended with a 3rd bedroom and an extra bathroom. The beds are 2 metres long. Each house has a south-facing terrace with garden table and chairs, a barbecue is available. The garden is fenced for children and dogs (allowed in one of the 2 houses) A gate gives access to the lake. Holiday home Etang Chapelle is located on a domain of 3 HA, of which 1 HA consists of a lake. Here is a small sandy beach, where children can play at the water's edge. There is a fishing jetty and because it is a private lake, you can cast your fishing rod without a licence. You will find a wide variety of fish and, of course, you and or your dog can also enjoy swimming in it. Please note that availability is only filled if both houses or the whole property are rented.

The holiday home L'Etang Chapelle is located on a 3.5-hectare estate and has a private lake with a jetty at guests' disposal. You can sail, fish and play on and around the water. Bring a chair and go in the evening to drink wine at the lake; you will be surprised to see which animals from the forest come to drink water from the lake in this lovely place, there is also almost always a heron who feasts on frogs or fish. The house faces south and you can almost always enjoy sitting on the terrace or in the garden.
The Dutch owners live 25 km away on a working ecological farm.

Wat een prachtig huis op een heerlijke rustige plek. Hou je van natuur, rust en ruimte, dan is het ideaal! Het meertje was ondanks de droogte toch nog goed om te dobberen op een luchtbedje en ook de vissen gedijen nog prima. We hebben genoten van de prachtige sterrenhemel, de mooie omgeving, de vriendelijke mensen in de streek, de kastelen en de rust.

rustig gelegen gite, van alle gemakken voorzien, aan fraai eigen "meer", waar je heerlijk kunt zwemmen (met of zonder hond). mooie omgeving om te wandelen of te fietsen en vlakbij een aantal leuke plaatsjes aan de loire

The Loire region has many wines. You are in the area of the Sancerrre, Menetou-salon, Pouilly-fumé and others. Be sure to search the many caves or knock on the door of the many small wine growers in the area and taste their wine at the kitchen table.
At 4 km, you will find the town of Briare, with the famous Aqueduct, designed by Eiffel. This is where the canal crosses the river Loire. You will marvel at the river with its floodplains and its wandering shepherd. And on the other side, a great place awaits you with an ice cream parlour; a brocante shop, a port, a tourist boat, a little train to discover the town by motorbike, etc.

There are castles, various museums, pottery village, historical towns, an Aqueduct built by Eiffel, wine regions and many other things.

The farmhouse houses 2 houses and a studio. Each house has its own terrace and privacy. You can rent it per unit or the whole. The price quoted is for the whole and per house. Availability is red only when the whole house is rented.

There are 2 houses on the property, one for 4p and the other for 6/8. The whole can be joined to one house for 12 persons with 5 bedrooms.
