The house
A holiday home in a 'fermette' (village farmhouse) from 1715 in the charming village Brouennes.
The home is suitable for five people. Of course there is still extra room for children, we have children's beds that can be placed. Just ask us when you do your booking and we will arrange it.
The gite is built in the former living quarters of the' fermette ': the central part, adjacent is the old barn and on the other side the stables. When you enter the house you come straight into a cosy kitchen. The kitchen has everything you might need, plus a dining table and the stairs going up.
The living room is behind the kitchen and is heated by a typical French wood stove. The door gives acces to the garden.
On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed and the other a single. On the second floor is another bedroom with both a double and single bed.

Les deux renard is situated in Brounennes' high street. The starting point for all your trips. It only takes five minutes walking and it feels like you are in no man's land. There are fields and meadows but also the large forest. This area is chosen as a holiday destination for its peace and quiet, and for unwinding.
But there also are many sights and places to visit: Orval, Montmedy with its citadel and its old site, Renaissance village Marville, Verdun and the battle fields of 1914-1918.

Heerlijk genoten! Fantastisch huis met alles erop en eraan.Oude dorpsboederij uit 1715 echt prachtig opgeknapt.genoten van het huis de heerlijke houtkachel en de prachtige omgeving ondanks de regen.Een echte aanrader! De eigenaren Johan en Veronique ontzettende lieve en behulpzame mensen.We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Graag had ik detail gekend van de factuur . Is hier geen vergissing ?
Inclusief waarborg ( 200 euro), hond (35) en opruim (50) betaalden wij 1..189 euro. Dit is dus 904 euro of 129 euro per overnachting . Prijs op site eigenaar is gevoelig minder voor deze periode . De eigenaar kon mij geen antwoord geven .

Restaurants, food & wine
The area has several good restaurants which usually serve local French cuisine. Beer lovers can visit Charmois castle where the beer of the same name is brewed, and there is the trappist beer from Orval. In summer you can visit the wine museum of wine village Murveaux.
Activities
Several activities are possible in the area: walking with or without topographical maps or walking maps. Cycling along marked routes. Mountain biking with sat-nav, we have maps with routes available. Swimming, kayaking, boat trips on the river Meuse and a picnic on the prettiest spots.

Our weekend rate is 320 euros.
During Christmas and New year's we only rent out per week.
Dogs are welcome, we charge 30 euros per dog per stay.
