Studio Saint Jean is a ground floor studio in a 400 year old building in the centre of Bayeux. It is set back from the main street by a security door, which also blocks all noise from the street, making the apartment itself very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is comfortably furnished with a 2 seater sofa, a dining table and chairs and a standard double bed. There is a well equipped kitchen area with 2 ring electric hob, oven and microwave as well as a kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The bathroom has been renovated to create a modern room with WC, sink and large walk-in shower. Studio Saint Jean is ideally located for visiting all the sites in Bayeux, being less than a 5 minute walk from both the cathedral and the tapestry. It is also only 2 minutes from the pickup point for D-Day tours and shuttle services to Mont St Michel. Rue St Jean itself is full of bars, cafés and restaurants and has a supermarket less than 50 metres from the apartment, also a pharmacy and the Tourist Office.
