The house
Newly renovated in 2020, The Old Barn Gite at Greener Pastures Gites, has modern features combined with lots of rustic charm. It is all on ground floor level so is suitable for those with reduced mobility. It has one double bedroom with a king size bed and one bedroom with bunk beds. It also has a large living/dining room with a very comfortable double sofa bed, shower room and a separate kitchen. There is an adjoining door with the Old Stable gite which together, can sleep up to 14 people. (Please see our other listing)

We are within easy reach of a plethora of historical and cultural sites, as well as outdoor activities suitable for all ages and interests.

Heel fijne plek om te verblijven. Mooie zwemvijver met lelies, kikkervisjes en libellen. Mooie uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen met bruikbare tips van de eigenaren. Maar gezellig relaxen in de eigen tuin en bij de vijver is ook een prima besteding van je vakantie dag.

The local village 5km away, has a supermarket, two bakeries, butchers, bar, small restaurant, take away and pizza machine. Within 20 km are the larger towns of Conde, Flers and Vire with many more amenities.
Activities
Greener Pastures is situated just 15 minutes from Suisse Normande and a huge variety of outdoor activities. Kayaking, cycling, climbing, hiking, fishing, bungee jumping, to name just a few. We have 3 acres of enclosed gardens, completely safe for children, with swings and a slide for little ones, table tennis, badminton, football goals, a pétanque court and we have a beautiful, natural, chemical free swimming pool shared with the Old Stable gite.
