The house
We have 2 gites here at Greener Pastures Gites, The Old Stable gite is newly converted from a 200 year old stable and has all the modern conveniences whilst retaining lots of rustic charm. It has an open plan living/kitchen dining area, a large shower room on the ground floor and three bedrooms and an ensuite bathroom upstairs. There is one double room, one large family room, with a super king bed and two single beds, one king size room with ensuite bathroom, plus a single fold out bed for a child. There is an adjoining door to the Old Barn gite which can be opened to allow one large group of up to 14 people to book together. Please see our other advertisement to book both gites.

Greener Pastures is in the midst of rural Normandy, surrounded by fields, woodland and ancient footpaths. We are 50 mins from the beautiful DDay beaches, 80 minutes from Mont St Michel and are very close to a plethora of both Médiéval and WW2 history sites. We can offer the best of all worlds in a relaxing, tranquil break, a historical and cultural feast or an fun packed activity holiday.

Greener Pastures is situated just 15 minutes from Suisse Normande and a huge variety of outdoor activities. Kayaking, cycling, climbing, hiking, fishing, bungee jumping, to name just a few. We have 3 acres of enclosed gardens, safe for children, with a pétanque court, table tennis, badminton, football goals, swings and a slide for little ones and a beautiful, natural, chemical free swimming pool shared with the Old Barn gite.

Please don’t use the gite towels outside the gite. Please bring your own towels for use outside and around the pool or they can hired for €5 each for the entirety of your stay.
Cooking oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee etc are all provided in the gites.
