Tall French windows lead from each ground floor room of the villa onto the South facing terrace – a real suntrap and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the gardens with a glass of local French cider or Calvados followed by a game of boules.
Nestling below the house is a magnificent 10m x 5m private heated swimming pool. It is set on the lower lawn out of sight of the house and is very private, with a security fence for safety. The poolside terraces with sun loungers and poolside dining catch the sun all day.
The accommodation is on two floors with a staircase leading to each side where the bedrooms are situated. There are 2 double bedrooms (one which is en suite), a ground floor room with King Size bed and an en suite "wet room". This is fully wheelchair accessible. Guests may choose to have two single beds in this room. Bed sizes 90x190cm. Also 2 twin rooms and a large triple/quad room that’s ideal for children. The house is just one hour's drive mins drive from the ferry port at Ouistreham (Caen).

Accommodation in more detail:
On entering the house the hallway divides the sleeping accommodation. To the right is Bedroom 1, the ground floor bedroom which has been adapted to welcome guests with impaired mobility. The bedroom has a King size bed but it is also possible to hire locally a profiling bed to be erected here for guests with specific mobility needs. (hire cost for profiling bed to the guest, details on request). The wide doorway leads to a full ensuite bathroom with wheel-in shower and raised toilet with grab rails. There is also a bath.
A door leads out from this bedroom to the front of the house.
Wide doorways throughout the tiled ground floor and French doors leading to sun terrace makes the house easily accessible for wheelchair users.

Also at ground floor level is a shower room with wash basin and W. C.
Upstairs there is a children’s bedroom, Chambre Verte, which is large enough to sleep 4 in single beds.
To the left of the hallway is the lovely dining room with beamed ceiling and magnificent oak table which seats 14 guests.
Through the dining room is the spacious sitting room with comfortable seating and a feature fireplace with wood burner. Ideal for those cooler evenings! The Tv has French and Uk channels.
The kitchen has been beautifully fitted with modern appliances and units. These include a dishwasher, built in microwave and electric oven with gas hob. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There is also a breakfast room with long oak table and benches to comfortably seat 8 guests.
More guest bedrooms are situated on the first floor and access is via the staircase in the lounge.
Bedroom 3, Chambre Orange, has a double bed and wardrobe.
Bedroom 4, Chambre Calme, has a double bed and ensuite shower and W. c. It also has a small wardrobe.
Bedroom 5, Chambre Bleue, has twin beds and a small wardrobe.
Bedroom 6, Chambre Jaune, has twin beds.
All the bedrooms have stunning views over the garden and the Normandy countryside.
There is a family bathroom with a bath, shower cabinet and WC.

Also close by are stunning beaches. Well known attractions in the area include Mont St Michel and the Plages Débarquement (D Day landing beaches of WW2)
