The house
The ground floor consists of an entrance hall, toilet, and an open-plan sitting room, dining area and kitchen. The lounge has two sofas, a cosy log burner, TV, DVD player and Ipad docking station. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and its grounds. The dining table seats 4 and the kitchen is decorated in French country style with a wealth of equipment, to include electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, separate freezer and washing machine. Upstairs,you will find a good selection of books and games as well as three pretty bedrooms. - one double and one twin. Upstairs, there is also a family shower room.
One cot as well as further baby equipment can be supplied on request.

Le Beau Fief is situated in a small hamlet in a tranquil, rural location. Set amid acres of farmland, sunflower fields and vineyards, it's perfectly placed for watching local wildlife, taking leisurely bike rides on the quiet lanes and enjoying the local wine tours on offer.
Just a five minute bike ride from the village of Cherbonnieres, where basic supplies such as bread and milk can be picked up (we supply 5 mountain bikes) and a ten minute drive from the historic town of Aulnay which has a number of bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Saint Jean d'Angely is a busy market town, 20 minutes away by car, offering a good selection of restaurants and bars, parks, supermarkets, water sports and go-karting.
In the wider area, you can enjoy the unspolit beaches along the Cote Sauvage, the Roman ruins at Saintes, and the hussle and bustle of the busy vibrant city of La Rochelle.
