The house
4 km from the centre of Bergerac, peacefully situated on the south-facing slope of a hilltop overlooking Bergerac, is our former farmhouse, of which we have transformed the adjoining outbuildings into a holiday home with all modern conveniences.
We have a hilly terrain of about 11 hectares with grass, trees and a forest with footpaths. You can walk around freely and enjoy the view and the quiet surroundings.
The comfortable holiday home has a living room of approx. 35m2 with a sliding door to the garden; the two bedrooms are approx. 13m2 and 16m2; the kitchen is fully equipped and covers approx. 18m2. In addition to a bathroom with a shower and bathtub, there is a separate toilet. The entire house has an area of approx 110m2 and is completely on the ground floor.
Behind the house we have a sheltered swimming pool with sunbathing area.

In a few minutes you are in the centre of Bergerac, a cheerful town on the river Dordogne, with many flowers and nice shops in historical buildings. Dordogne has a pleasant climate, is quiet but also has many tourist attractions. The internet site www.bergerac-toerisme.com gives you a good idea of the many activities in and around Bergerac.
To the nearest bakery it is 2,5 km, to the nearest supermarket 3,5 km.
Bergerac has an airport with a direct connection to Rotterdam-Airport, serviced by Transavia.

Schitterende vakantiewoning met prachtig uitzicht op Bergerac. De woning is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien met in de zeer ruim bemeten tuin een heerlijk zwembad. De woning is zo gelegen dat de privacy is gewaarborgd. Af en toe werden wij op ons terras vriendelijk bezocht door 2 lieve honden en de 3 pony s die vrij op het terrein los lopen. Vanuit dit vakantiehuis is het een prima uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen.

Ruime woning met 11 hectare tuin, alle privacy, mooi ruim zwembad, Dochter genoot van de pony’s en hond terwijl zoon alle ruimte heeft om te voetballen, in de avond met golfkar over je ‘eigen’ landgoed herten spotten prachtig. Omgeving nodigt uit om wijn te proeven en Bordeaux/st emilion te bezoeken, goed internet en tv kanalen, fijne badkamer en slaapkamers. Jan& Gina veel dank voor de gastvrijheid!
Restaurants, food & wine
Bergerac is surrounded by vineyards, such as those of Pecharmant and Monbazillac. Famous areas such as St Emilion and Bordeaux are also within easy reach. The many chateaux offer you the opportunity to taste the local wines. You don't have to search for a restaurant serving the famous Perigordian cuisine, besides that Bergerac and its surroundings have something for everyone in the culinary field.
