The house
Beautifully restored ground floor apartment for couples or single travellers in unique historic property. Exposed stone walls and oak beams combined with all mod cons. Modern pellet stove makes for a cosy ambiance in the cooler months and thick stone walls keep it cool in summer. Light and airy with direct access on to 2 private terraces for guests sole use. There is a large garden beyond of 1 hectare which affords stunning views of the Chateau, and surrounding countryside with lovely shaded seating areas, wild flower meadow and many fruit trees. A new saltwater pool was installed in 2021.

Amble just up the road to fetch fresh bread and croissants from the Epicerie. Have a guided tour of the château; join the Grande Randonnée footpath for a circular walk (12k) through forests, searching for chestnuts and wild mushrooms. You're between the Lot and the Dordogne valleys for caves, canoeing and spotting wildlife but also great food and wine - a taste of authentic France.
