Red Shutters is a single storey house with spacious, light and sunny rooms. The house has two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms, comfortably sleeping 4 people - a separate lounge and a spacious kitchen/diner - the house has a light and airy feel with all the modern conveniences to make your stay hassle free. TV with English channels, DVD player, games, table tennis, free Wifi, a library of books / DVDs to choose from, washing machine, hair dryer, iron and ironing board all provided. There is plenty of private parking and the local store is within walking distance.
Red Shutters is a peaceful place to stay and relax: take a swim or sit in the hot tub while watching the sun go down and the stars come out.
Have breakfast, lunch or supper sitting outside in the courtyard - a perfect way to enjoy al fresco dining.

Cendrieux is in the heart of the Perigord nestled in the French countryside. A
The local shop and a Post Offuce is within walking distance. Saint Alvere known for its truffle markets is close by with a lovely cafe and restaurant to while away the hours. Supermarkets are within an easy drive and Red Shutters is close to the famous strawberry fields know for their excellent crop in this area.
Many pretty towns are on the river in the area and there is a riverside beach which is a great day out to visit with all the family.

There are a variety of restaurants in the region, some are Michelin star rated and plenty of others offer great value with their the Plat du Jour which is a must when in France - make sure you get there early as they sell out quickly being so popular. The wines are mainly from Bordeaux and the Bergerac region which are a full bodied wine that compliments the local food in the region.
The Perigord is full of cafes, restaurants, bars and al fresco dining waiting to be visited and experienced - some are so tucked away in the countryside which we can recommend.
