The house
The accommodation comprises of 4 bedrooms (2 of which can be made up as 2 singles per room or one king size bed per room), One of bedrooms has basin and mirror over. Large L-shaped living/dining room, family bathroom with shower and w.c. Fully equipped kitchen, utility room, conservatory with table and seating for 8 and separate w.c., private pool with fantastic views all set in an extensive garden, perfect to unwind and relax in. Sleeps 2-6. (can sleep 8, at owners discretion). We also cater for babies/toddlers and have a large Graco travel cot, highchair and baby bath. Douville is a very quiet hamlet near the villages of pont st mamet which has a very well stocked shop and campsegret with many restaurants. There is also a bar in Pont st Mamet 5 minutes away that serves light meals. Also nearby small towns of Villamblard and Vergt with many amenities. Douville is situated between the towns of Bergerac and Perigueux being 25 minutes from Bergerac airport. From the wraparound balcony and garden you can see open farmland and trees with no light pollution.

le Jardin Maison is located in a quiet village. The garden and pool are wonderfull. There is a fan available in every room. The church next door chimes twice a day, at noon and 19.00 o’clock. The boulangerie near by is fully equipped. On a surface of approximately 36 m2 you can find everything what Leclerc has on the hyper location. Very nice and helpful people.

We had a lovely stay at Le Jardin Maison summer 2022. It has a nice garden and pool with lost of shade. There’s a small shop with bakery 5 mins drive.
Most activities are 30-90 min away from Douville (Bergerac-Domme-Pergieux-Sarlat-Trusac-Beynac-Brantome-canoeing-restaurants etc.)
The beds and rooms for the children are fine, but the double beds are quitte narrow/small (when you’re not used to it).
Bring your own coffeemachine because there’s none.

Had a very nice holiday at the house of Eileen and jeremy. Beautiful location, fantastic garden with amazing view and pool. Eileen and jeremy are very nice hosts and helpfull for any questions. All in all very nice house to stay!

There any many local restaurants to choose from, all within 10-15 minutes drive of the house ranging from French cuisine to pizzas etc.
Activities
There are many places of interest to visit near Douville, Many lovely gardens to see. We are between the cities of Bergerac and Perigueux, and nearby to Sarlat and Eymet. Also near to Dordogne river and La Vezere River where you can canoe, kayak, take boat cruises. You can go on wine tours at local vineyards, cycling, hiking, cave excursions. There are two lakes with beaches close by and Bordeaux with its many beaches in an hour away. Many leaflets of places of interest are in the property.
