The house

Your attractive holiday home Maison CouCou III, has a fully equipped kitchen, cool and cozy living room, a bathroom and 2 bedrooms.
In the kitchen you will find the dishwasher, microwave/oven, toaster, cooking unit and fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is a Dolce Gusto machine for a nice cup of coffee. Furthermore, all kitchen utensils are available for self-catering.
Your living room is equipped with a cosy lounge sofa, an armchair, a beamer (large projection screen) with, among others, Dutch-language channels, Netflix and Prime Video and a music system that can be controlled via your own Bluetooth. Of course, you can use the internet (Starlink) available on site and in the houses.
The bedrooms are on the first floor. The main bedroom has a large comfortable bed with a thick mattress and plenty of closet space. the second bedroom has a box bed made of scaffolding wood. The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, toilet, a washbasin, hairdryer and a column cabinet.
At Maison CouCou III you have access to a lovely lounge set and deck chairs in the private enclosed garden. You can enjoy your meals at the picnic table, and in the evening sink into the lounge sofa with a glass of wine or a cold beer to enjoy a beautiful starry sky.
As it is possible to arrive at Maison CouCou at any day and time (from 16.00 onwards), we work with key boxes. It may therefore happen that when you arrive we will not be able to receive you in person.
Saturday is not a compulsory arrival and/or departure day, for different arrival/departure days please ask for the possibilities.
This accommodation is suitable for 2 persons (when booking, a baby counts as 1 person).

Near your holiday home in the Dordogne are several shops and large supermarkets for daily shopping, markets and other amenities. Also, in Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, which is 5 minutes away, there are several atmospheric and cosy restaurants (also suitable for children).

We realise all too well that holidays are for everyone.
In the vicinity of Maison CouCou are several local restaurants for young and old to eat out. Of course, you can also barbecue, cook elaborately together or enjoy local specialities at one of the many evening parties in the villages and towns nearby (common in the summer months).
Activities
For the children, there is a cobweb swing, a large trampoline, a seesaw, a pedal tractor and a ping-pong table.
Furthermore, in the general garden by the heated pool, there are sun loungers to relax in the sun or in the shade of our proud oak tree. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view of the valley that feels like a gift every time. Maison CouCou has a heated (important for children) swimming pool that can be reached through a small gate with a lock, so children cannot enter without supervision.
Additional price info and offers
The REQUIRED cleaning fee is € 17,00 per day.
You can rent a linen package for € 25,= per person. This package includes: hand, tea, dish and bath towels, washing-up sponge, tablets (for the dishwasher) and bed linen, the beds are made up on arrival.
We charge €4,= per adult per night (from 18 years old) for other expenses.
A cot, equipped with bed linen and high chair, can be rented for €30.
For the use of the washing machine we charge €6,= per wash.
Saturday is not a compulsory arrival and/or departure day. Ask us about the possibilities, we are happy to think along with you.
The aforementioned compulsory costs and options must be paid in cash upon arrival.
