Beaux Reves Luxury 3 bedroom Villa with private heated pool on the estate of Les Charmes de Carlucet between Sarlat la Canéda & the Caves of Lascaux.
It has been officially rated 5 stars by the Dordogne Tourist board & has 3 beautiful air-conditioned double bedrooms all with private en-suite bathrooms, private heated fenced pool & extensive private gardens.
Situated on the private estate of Les Charmes de Carlucet, completely private with its own secluded garden and heated pool (heated between May to Sept weather permitting)
Beaux Reves is a beautiful stone Villa which has been completely renovated to the highest standards using quality materials & local beautiful sandy coloured stone.
The property is in excellent decorative order, extremely clean & very fresh. With stylish, quality, comfortable furnishings throughout.
The living/dining/kitchen area is open plan to allow a light, airy & communal space. A wood burning stove is situated in the centre which adds to the cosy feel of this stunning property. The Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals.
There are UK & French satellite channels & free WiFi. There is a separate laundry room equipped with a washing machine & dryer.
Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms all with private en-suite bathrooms & air conditioning. All the beds are extremely comfortable with high quality mattresses & bedding for extra comfort.
The dining/living area opens up on to a secluded private terrace & private fenced heated swimming pool with sun loungers surrounding it. Views around it are of the stunning Countryside & of the beautiful Church and Hamlet of Carlucet. The extensive private gardens are surrounded by beautiful Countryside with far reaching views.
The house & pool are facing South West and have the most spectacular sunsets over the beautiful landscape.

Just 400 meters from Beaux Reves Villa, is the charming Irish/French Pub/Restaurant The Black Duck, serving lunch & dinner as well as cool Guinness on tap!
The area of Périgord Noir is famous for its gastronomy due to the wonderful abundance of delicious local delicacies which include Truffles, Walnuts and Foie Gras.
We are fortunate to have many wonderful local restaurants close to Les Charmes de Carlucet and Beaux Reves villa including the wonderful Michelin starred La Meynardie in the nearby village of Salignac-Eyvigues just 5 minutes away. A truly world class restaurant on our doorstep.
Our guests also just love the friendly family run gastro pub, The Black Duck, just 5 minutes walk away. It serves simple tasty regional dishes at reasonable prices. There are 7 draught beers on tap including cool Guinness. They also serve fish and chips!
There are 2 terraces for outdoor dining with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. Lively friendly atmosphere.
In nearby village of Salignac, 5 mins by car is this delightful bistro/café Cafe de la Place, on the village square in Salignac. It offers simple, well presented, reasonably priced tasty meals. It’s a lively friendly place. Especially on Friday evenings during the summer months when the village night market with live music is in full swing.
Just 10 minutes drive from Les Charmes de Carlucet takes you to the family run Auberge d'Imbes, surrounded by peaceful countryside.
There is a lovely outdoor terrace. They serve their own homemade foie gras and other regional dishes. Very friendly service and good value for money.
Le Petit Leon restaurant is in the heart of Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère, a charming village about 25 mins drive from Les Charmes de Carlucet and Beaux Reves villa.
The food here is absolutely fantastic! The restaurant combines refined classic cuisine and modern techniques, focusing on the local produce we have at hand.
Chef and owner Nick Honeyman from New Zealand has previously worked extensively throughout France at such restaurants as L’Astrance and L’Arpege. He also has his own restaurant, Paris Butter, in Auckland, New Zealand. Nick is bringing his passion for classic french food & innovative cooking together, sourcing everything locally where possible.Book well ahead as this place is very popular.

Beaux Reves 5 star villa, on the private estate of Les Charmes de Carlucet, is located in the heart of the "Golden Triangle" of the Dordogne, Perigord Noir in South West France. Between the stunning medieval town of Sarlat la Canéda and the world famous caves of Lascaux at Montignac. The area is famous for the beautiful Dordogne river and all the activities that take place there including canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing. It is also famous for the most beautiful and historic villages in France which include La Roque Gageac, Domme, Beynac, and Castelnaud la Chapelle. Also it is famous for the majestic Chateaux along the banks of the Dordogne such as Beynac, Castelnaud, and the magnificent former home of Josephine Baker, Chateau Milandes. There are 147 UNESCO World Heritage sites of prehistoric importance along the Vezere valley which is also close by and waiting for you to discover them.
From our doorstep, there are many glorious walking & cycling trails as Les Charmes de Carlucet and Beaux Reves villa are surrounding by beautiful, peaceful Countryside filled with amazing wildlife, rare & beautiful wild flowers.
Just a 10 minute drive from Beaux Reves is the stunning Jardins de Eyrignac, voted the most beautiful gardens in Perigord Noir. Also the magnificent Jardins of Marqueyssac are just a short drive away.
