The house

  • Quiet, rural area with some agricultural activity

This farmhouse is situated in a wooded area and as inhabitants you notice how peaceful and quiet it is here. A walk over the 5.5 ha large terrain is a pleasure every time, over the rolling meadows and through the forrest with a small 'plan d'eau', with water from a higher located well. Children can play freely in the forest. The 'fermette' consists of a house, a large barn with stable and pigsty. The house has been modernised and is equipped with all mod coms. A new bathroom with separate WC. A kitchen with stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave and pots and pans. The living room has a spacious sitting area with television, a wood burner and there is also central heating. One bedroom has a double beda and the other singles. The pool is cleaned with a salt water system, so the water is soft for the skin and eyes. There is also a possibility to use the camp site next to the house for friends or family. After consultation.

At about 2.5km is Villefranche du Périgord, the village has two baker's, two supermarkets, a butcher's, a few restaurants, een café and 'tabac' for the newspaper etc. .

Neighbour Nadine is always willing the help, she speaks English. And the owner can always be contacted by phone.
