Blacksmith Cottage

Blacksmiths cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It has been thoughtfully renovated by the current owners and offers comfortable and cozy accommodation.

We are still on a journey of discovery, but its believed that Fortresses Chevalier has links to the Knights Templar and dates back to 1500AD. There are a number of historical artefacts which point to this.

The Gite has a gated patio area, which has a BBQ and table and chairs for six. On entering the Gite you walk into the kitchen, dinning and lounge area with a working walk-in Inglenook fireplace. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, hob, oven and kettle. The dinning table seats six comfortably, Two sofas are positioned around a smart TV

The cottage can be booked alongside Blacksmiths apartment (the cottage and apartment have two lockable doors linking them up if required), giving accommodation for up to 8 people.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and 2 singles. The master bedroom (double bed), has a Juliet balcony overlooking the inner courtyard with a typically French styled bed. The second bedroom has a double ornate bed and also over looks the inner courtyard, the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The bathroom has a walk in shower with a shaving point above the vanity unit.

Linen and towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

The swimming pool is open for guests to enjoy between May and September.

The inner courtyard is enclosed and offers a tranquil and relaxing setting.

Secure undercover storage is available for larger items, such as push bikes, motor bikes, top boxes, etc.
