The house
Come and stay in our "Gîte de Séjour" of our hospitable historical manor house from 1859.
Our mansion is the former farm of our family chateau.
We are located just 300m outside our village Vezins-de-Levezou in the lovely quiet French countryside ...
Millau and the motorway A75 are at 14 km (direction Béziers, Montpellier and Spain) ! (Exit 44.1 )
Our "Gîte de Séjour" is located in 3 vaulted rooms of our gentleman's farm.
It consists of an original and "A-typical" spacious bedroom, a spacious kitchen and a bathroom!
The dormitory (+/-30m2) has room for max.6 persons,
is tastefully decorated with many natural materials such as wood and stone, "back to basic", without luxury ...
All basic facilities are present and one sleeps wonderfully and pleasantly cool with us during the summer heat!
In front of the entrance of the bedroom, you have your own little covered terrace under the arcade,
where one has a direct view on the spacious "cour" with grass and the old fountain
which provides a wonderfully soothing babbling sound and where children have the space to play ...
The spacious kitchen with its sitting area, also tastefully "basic" furnished, has all basic facilities!
And the spacious bathroom has 2 shower cabins, a sink and ecological toilet (toilet seche/dry toilet).
( !! > The bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are each located in 3 adjacent vaulted rooms, they each have their own entrance FROM THE OUTSIDE!)
There is also a large wooden table placed outside by the kitchen where you can eat with friends and/or family outside ...
A very original "A-typical" stay for young and old! ... For those who love nature, tranquillity and space ...
For those who do not like camping, but also do not want to stay in a standard holiday home ...

Located only 14km from exit 44.1 of the A75. and 25 min north of Millau , our domaine is just 300m outside the village of Vezins-de-Levezou (Vezins).
Here you will find a small shop with a bakery (open on sundays - closed on mondays and wednesday afternoons) where you can buy all the basic necessities.
There is also a post office, a pharmacy and a doctor's post.
There are 2 restaurants nearby; at 3 and 6 km in the neighbouring villages. Here you can eat for a very reasonable price.
Millau, Sévérac le Château, Laissac, Pont-de-Salars et Salles-Curan with the lakes are at 25 minutes.
Domaine d'Angel-Berg is located in the regional park Grand Causses. One can undertake many activities here,
such as cycling / mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking and not to mention the (extreme) (water) sports at Millau, think of rafting, para-gliding, canoeing etc ...

Heerlijke rust !
Een uiterst vriendelijke ontvangst op een prachtige locatie! Rust, natuur, stilte.... Mooi, nette kamer, alles was aanwezig. Verwend met een heerlijke uitgebreid ontbijt. We kregen alle tijd om ons klaar te maken, buiten te genieten van de zon, nog even te gaan wandelen in gezelschap van de honden,.... Cecile gaf ons een heel warme ontvangst. Uiterst vriendelijk en hartelijk, legde ons echt ik de watten!Damien from Ierland,

Op doorreis naar Spanje hier een nachtje geslapen in één van de familiekamers. De hoeve ligt op een prachtig landgoed en de kamer was gezellig ingericht en erg netjes. Cecile is een attente gastvrouw en het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid voor Franse begrippen! Vanaf de A75 is het ongeveer 20 min. rijden, maar echt de moeite waard!

There are 2 restaurants in the nearby villages (3 and 6 km)
The attractive city of Millau, Sévérac le Château, Laissac, Pont-de-Salars et Salles-Curan with the lakes are 25 minutes away,
where you can also go out (eating) very pleasantly!
There is also plenty to enjoy in the surrounding area!
There are wine regions (e.g. Côtes de Millau) where one can visit wine cellars and taste the wines!
See how the (sheep) cheeses are made, and taste of course, on the farm or at a fromagerie.
Roquefort is at 3 quarters of an hour driving distance!
The French cuisine is very versatile and several restaurants want you to enjoy!
These are everywhere in the surrounding (medieval) villages to find!
Or just enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine on a terrace.
Moreover, in the summer months Les Fêtes, the French (medieval) festivals, delicious food, drink and dance!
Of course there are also the atmospheric markets everywhere, with their colourful array of vegetables, fruit and herbs, olives and wines etc.
The warm welcome and inviting regional cuisine, make a holiday a real pleasure!
Activities
The Domaine has a size of 26 ha. and our "maison-de-maître" , the former manor house of our family château,
with its stables, were built in 1859, at the request of Angel, the wife of the Marquis of Vezins at the time, and Henri's great-great-grandmother ...
It is full enjoyment in this great place, with its rich history, tranquillity , space and nature, with its stables and the horses ....
Domaine d'Angel-Berg is located in the Grand Causses regional park. One can undertake numerous activities here, such as cycling/mountain biking, horse riding and hiking.
There are many circuits to do from our Domaine and for our guests we have a folder with maps which we are happy to lend to you....
In and near Millau at 25min you can do many extreme sports, such as the flying and gliding sports...but also think about canoeing and rafting....
We are also close to the lakes of Pareloup, where one can swim and enjoy the beaches and other water sports already 20min away at Salles Curan!
Micropolis "the city of insects" is only a few km away....A zoo/amusement park is also nearby!
Of course it is also worth visiting the information centre of the "Viaduc de Millau",
the highest bridge in the world at only 20min ! A real experience...
The A75 motorway with its exit " 44.1 " is only 14km away from us !
