The house
Large Provencal detached house with large, well-equipped kitchen-living room overlooking terraces and wooded grounds, living room with sitting area, television and bookcases, five bedrooms to choose from depending on the composition of your family or group, one bathroom with bath and separate shower, two washbasins, and one bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
The whole is comfortable and tastefully decorated.
The house is equipped for 7 persons. For a group of 5 or less, several rooms can be closed off: the large dining room and one or more bedrooms.
For the rest, you have of course the whole garden and the swimming pool at your disposal! Attention: the swimming pool can be out of order outside of the high season, please inform us beforehand!

In the Rhone valley, in a region rich in historical and natural beauty, 1.5 km from the beautiful village of Saint Laurent des Arbres.
In this southern French environment, one of the sunniest in the country, one can spend most of the year outdoors. Around Saint Laurent des Arbres are the famous vineyards of Tavel, capital of rosé, Lirac, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas.
Close to interesting cities like Avignon, Orange, Nîmes, it is an ideal place to enjoy everything this region has to offer: many roman monuments and other cultural excursions, beautiful wild nature, quiet walking and cycling routes.
In summer, the region is full of events: the Avignon theatre festival, the Chorégies in Orange, etc.

Restaurants, food & wine
The famous wine villages Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Tavel, Lirac and Gigondas lie around the house at a distance of 2 to 25 km. You can of course taste these famous wines everywhere.
In Saint Laurent there are several restaurants for all tastes.
The markets of Bagnols sur Cèze (Wednesday morning), Uzès (Saturday morning), and Orange (Thursday morning) are known for their holiday atmosphere. For the essentials there is also a market in Saint Laurent on Friday mornings.
Activities
In St Laurent des Arbres, you can get a temporary season ticket at the local tennis club. There is a riding school for horse riding. At a distance of about 10 km, there is an aero club for gliding and parachute jumping.
The surroundings offer many possibilities, directly from the house, for walks and bicycle rides. It is possible to rent bicycles at the Tourist Office in the village.
You can also visit the historical monuments with a French or English speaking guide. In the summer all kinds of events are organised, such as a night market with local products and a night tour through the village.

Further remarks
The very large swimming pool (12 x 5) has the advantage of having the same depth of 1.40m water everywhere, which makes it great for swimming and playing, also for young children.
The many terraces around the house and the swimming pool will always give you a place to stay in the sun or in the shade.
