The house
Beautifully restored 3 bedroom Provençal farmhouse. The house, 220m2, has 3 bedrooms. All bedrooms have queen size beds (160x200cm) and en-suite full bathrooms. Spacious living room, kitchen and dining room. The low maintenance garden has multiple terraces, swimming pool & pool house, great views on vineyard and nature.
The village of Tavel is located 12 km from Avignon, 27 km from Uzes. From our home it’s a 5 minute walk to the center. You’ll find 2 bakeries, a grocery-store, a pharmacy and a 5 restaurants, doctor, dentist etc... The village approx. 1500 inhabitants is calm, the growing of vines and the wine production dictate the rhythm of life. There are 2 big commercial zones at 10 minutes by car, one in direction of Avignon and the other in direction of Bagnols sur Ceze.
Easy to fly into as Marseille, Nimes and Montpellier airport are nearby.

The reputation of the village has already been made. Tavel is synonymous to gastronomy, known for its wine, the number one rosé in France, put only on the best of tables. Don't let this reputation hide other treasures to be found in this peaceful village and its surrounding.
Tavel has a village life, as you can imagine, narrow spindling streets, an open air 19th century laundry, its 12th century chapel, friendly inhabitants. A botanical trail, roads leading you through the vineyards, along stone quarries or in the surrounding hills. And don't forget to make the famous route along the different wine districts and their cellars offering you a wine-tasting.

Heerlijk comfortabel huis met drie 2-persoons-slaapkamers met elke een eigen badkamer. De inrichting van het huis is zeer smaakvol en verzorgd. Maar buiten is het het allerfijnst, het huis ligt in een rustige omgeving en beschikt over meerdere terrassen met goede tuinmeubels en vier lekkere ligbedden aan het fijne zwembad. Het terras dichtbij de keuken beschikt over een buiten-BBQ, perfect voor de zwoele zomeravonden in de Provence.
Wij waren er met zes personen, zodat we het hele huis en de buitenfaciliteiten voor onszelf privé hadden, dat vonden wij fantastisch.
In het dorp Tavel zijn diverse restaurants, wij zijn fan van La Courtille op 5-10 minuutjes lopen van Jardin de Bacchus.Comment from Erik van Greuningen

Très belle maison calme et confortable dans une région magnifique. Il y a beaucoup de chose à voir à moins d'une heure de voiture, c'est un grand bonheur de beauté.

Wat een paradijsje hebben Eric en Christine gecreëerd aan de rand van het dorp Tavel!!!! Wij mochten een week meegenieten van de stijlvolle tuin, het mooie zwembad en de kleine, maar comfortabele en complete gite.
