Last year, our guests suffered a lot from traffic jams and delays on the always busy Saturdays. By moving our changeover day to SUNDAY, we hope our guests will have an enjoyable trip without (too many) delays.
Domaine Peyrebatut offers accommodation for four people. The gîte can also be rented in combination with the chambres d'hôtes, increasing the total accommodation to six people. The gîte is located on a 5-hectare estate on one of the hills near the village of Saint Puy. The gîte offers plenty of peace, space and privacy and has stunning views of Saint Puy and the surrounding hills with vineyards and beautiful sunflower fields.
Built 'en pierre', the gîte was completely renovated a few years ago and has a complete, modern and very bright interior. The total surface of the house is 100 m2 divided into a spacious hall with wood-burning stove, two spacious bedrooms with respectively a double bed and two single beds (there is also a cot available), a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet and a very spacious, high living room with wood-burning stove and open kitchen (47 m2) with French doors on the south and west side giving access to the terraces. The terraces are completely private, surrounded by a large, wooded garden, equipped with a teak garden table, garden chairs and a parasol, and have a total area of 50 m2. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, washing machine, cooker, oven, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. There is also a CD/DVD player and Wi-Fi in the gîte. On the estate there is a swimming pool (5 x 12 m) available to guests and owners. Parking is available on the estate.
Domaine Peyrebatut is about two kilometres from the village of Saint Puy. In the village you will find a bakery, small supermarket, petrol pump, pharmacy, gallery and wine chateau Monluc. Centrally located in the village is the restaurant Chez Vous where you can enjoy delicious, contemporary dishes and a wonderful glass of wine on the beautiful, covered outdoor terrace.

Domaine Peyrebatut is located 2 km from the village of Saint Puy in the Gers. The gîte is detached and has a view of the village and the surrounding hills. Domaine Peyrebatut covers 5 ha. and lies in the middle of an 80 ha. agricultural area that is cultivated organically.
The landscape of the Gers can be described as a region of gently rolling hills. Together, these foothills of the Pyrenees form a beautiful wooded hilly landscape. The slopes are often covered with sunflower and corn fields and vineyards. Furthermore, the Gers is known for the centuries-old pilgrim routes that run through it to the pilgrimage site of Santiago de Compostela.
Auch, the capital of the Gers, is only 30 km away. Here you will find all the facilities of a big city, nice markets and terraces. A visit to Toulouse (100 km) will certainly be worthwhile. The pink city, so called because of the predominantly pink colour of the bricks, offers everything you could wish for.

Restaurants, food & wine
We are in the area where the armagnac, goose liver and pâté come from. In Saint Puy you will find restaurant Chez Vous, where you can enjoy a contemporary meal and a good glass of wine. Also in the village is Château Monluc where you can enjoy the Pousse-Rapière and taste the wines of the Château. In the surrounding villages, you will find many cosy restaurants and various wine houses that you can visit.
Activities
In the immediate vicinity of Saint Puy there are numerous possibilities for various activities, such as swimming in the lake at Castéra Verduzan, playing golf in Auch (18 holes), Eauze (18 holes) or Fleurance (9 holes), hiking in the area (a.o. route de Santiago de Compostella) or gliding at Béraut. The Pyrenees are at approx. 2 hours driving distance.
Every week you can visit markets and local festivals. Some important ones are the famous Jazz-In-Marciac festival, the Country and Western festival in Mirande or the Fiesta-Latina in Vic-Fezensac. You can also book a guided tour of the Airbus factories in Toulouse.

Wij zijn hier (helaas) maar 1 week geweest. Maar het huis en het domein zijn waren van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht, de omgeving en de gastvrijheid waren fantastisch. Wij komen zeker terug.

Zeer verzorgd en compleet huis met veel privacy buiten. Prachtig uitzicht. Zowel zon als schaduwplekken. Het water van het zwembad is erg zacht omdat er geen chloor wordt gebruikt. Eigenaren zijn vriendelijk en gastvrij. De natuur in de omgeving is erg mooi. We hebben hier een heel fijne vakantie gehad en hebben zelfs nog een paar dagen extra genomen.
