The house
Two bedroomed gite fitted to a very high standard.
Open plan groundfloor with 2 double patio doors opening onto the terrace area and giving access to the pool and garden.
Two armchairs and a sofa, a dining table for 6. Fully fittred kitchen area with a full sized oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer and all equipment required for a self catering holiday.
There is also a toilet is also on the ground floor.
First Floor comprises of a double bedroom with bedside drawers and fitted wardrobes incompassing a dressing table, bedside lamps.
A twin bedroom again with bedside table and lamp and a further large chest of drawers.
Fully fitted bathroom with bath and shower overhead. Sink with vanity unit.
WIFI.
There is also a shared seperate laundry room with full size washing machine, iron and airer.

The gite is near Bagneres de Bigorre, Hautes-Pyrenees, Midi-Pyrenees, France - Peaceful Location With Stunning Mountain Views and pool.
This spacious and well appointed gite is situated in the grange attached to our 18th century farmhouse and set in 1 acre of south facing garden with 10m x 5m pool enjoying a wonderful, natural setting with suberb mountain views.
We are situated at the base of the Haute Pyrenees within the village of Cieutat, which has a traditional 'boulangerie' providing freshly made bread/croissants and patisserie every morning.
Gites de Bigorre is the perfect place for whatever event or activity holiday you are planning – or just for total relaxation in a stunning setting.
The gites are well placed for all mountain activities i.e skiing, cycling, walking at all levels, mountain biking, paragliding, horse riding, bird watching and fishing. For golfers there is a beautiful international 18-hole course (overlooking the mountains) within a 5mins drive. Or take things at a more leisurely pace and visit the local mountain villages, nearby Pau, beautiful St Bertrand de Comminges, a pilgrimage to Lourdes, take a day trip over the mountains into Spain via the many passes or tunnels or visit one of the numerous thermal spas.
The Tour de France is also a big attraction here in July and in the winter there is some of the best skiing and winter sports facilities in the Pyrenees.
The gites benefit from a shared pool in the privacy of the main garden with fantastic panoramic views. The perfect way to end an active day or to simply relax the day away.
Although the gites are very well equipped for self catering there are many bars and restaurants in the nearby spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre.Or in the mature gardens there are stone built barbeques with plenty of seating again affording magnificent views of the mountains.
Activities
Cycling
The Hautes- Pyrenees is extremely popular with cyclists of all levels and there are hundreds and different routes to choose from. The world famous Col de Toumelet and Col D'Aspin can be reached from the property, along with more leisurly rolling hills in The Barronnies. The Tour de France passes through the area every year.
Hiking/Walking
We are located in the foothills of the Pyrenees and thousands of walks and be found for every level. I do have numerous walking books you can use, but please note these are in French. Many of the walks are centred around mountain lakes. Good examples of these being Lac Bleu and Pont D'Espange.
Skiing
There are numerous ski stations in the Pyrennes, the closest and largest being La Mongie at the Col de Toumelet. The properties are also ideally located for those who wish to ski at different resorts, good examples being Cauterets and Saint Lary Soulan.
Water Sports
There are plenty of opportinities to enjoy kayaking, canyoning, rafting and many other water sports in the area.
Golf
There is a world class golf course 4 miles/6km from us. The fees being very reasonable.
There are further courses at Lourdes, Tarbes and Lannemezan.
