The house
The holiday home La Courtade is suitable for two people and is situated on a plot of 900 m2 surrounded by meadows. It is a completely restored house where much of the old charm has been restored. The house is very comfortable. The oak wooden floors and oak wooden beams give it the French atmosphere. On the ground floor is the kitchen with floor heating, in which a cosy space has been created for cooking. The kitchen is equipped with all conveniences: a cooker, oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. The kitchen has doors that open directly onto the large terrace. From the terrace you can walk straight into the garden. On the ground floor you will also find the toilet and the washing machine. On the second floor is the living room with fireplace, there is as well as in the kitchen satellite TV with all Dutch channels. On the second floor is a bedroom with luxury bathroom and toilet. The surface of the house is 3x 36m2.

The holiday home La Courtade is surrounded by meadows and the forest is nearby for a nice walk. There are special walking and cycling maps of the area available. La Courtade is situated at 2 km from the village Le Vigan where there is a bakery, a butcher, a greengrocer, a small supermarket and some nice restaurants. At 10 km lies the town of Gourdon with all large supermarkets, shops, terraces and restaurants.

Een prachtig huis. Kosten noch moeite zijn gespaard bij de verbouw en inrichting.
Een mooi uitzicht en overal terrassen bij het huis.
Nog nooit zo vriendelijk ontvangen. Een broodmaaltijd met alles erop en eraan stond klaar.
Geen bijkomende kosten van elektra of schoonmaak. Ook geen borg gevraagd.

Beste Aletta en familie,
Wat hebben we genoten van het mooie huis en de omgeving. Er is heel veel te zien en te doen. Prachtig huis , we zouden er zo kunnen wonen. De vloerverwarming in de keuken deed het niet, extra kacheltje stond al klaar en met een extra dekentje ook heel comfortabel,

Wie op vakantie gaat naar de Lot of Dordogne mag dit vakantiehuis eigenlijk niet missen. Authentiek, sfeervol en comfortabel ingericht, en een tuin waarin altijd wel een zon- of schaduwplekje te vinden is.
Bij aankomst is de keuken door de verhuurders voorzien van lekkers om je gelijk thuis te voelen in Frankrijk, dat is een heerlijk begin van de vakantie. Op 3 km ligt het dorpje Le Vigan, waar een bakker, slager, kleine supermarkt en restaurants te vinden zijn. Door de ligging tussen de rivieren Lot en Dordogne zijn de vele bezienswaardigheden in de regio prima bereikbaar. En wie wil fietsen en niet bang is voor af en toe een heuvel, kan zich volop uitleven.
Wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf en dat is mede de verdienste van de verhuurders die dit plekje hebben gerealiseerd
Activities
In the vicinity of holiday home La Courtade are the pleasant and beautiful cities: Gourdon, Sarlat, Souillac, Rocamadour, Cahors and St. Cirq Lapopie. In the surrounding villages there are regular local markets and brocante's, many castles to visit and also caves such as the caves of Padirac and the cave de Lacave. The Dordogne River is also nearby for canoeing and swimming. In Souillac, a 20 minute drive from holiday home La Courtade, is the beautiful 18 hole golf course called "Souillac Golf & Country Club". There are also many other activities such as horse riding, walking and fishing in the vicinity of La Courtade.
