The house
The house is located on a quiet country road with beautiful views over the valley of the Lot, surrounded by vineyards. The house is spacious and practical. The thick walls keep the temperature pleasantly constant.
The main building has a special living room of about 100 m2 with French doors to the garden. The garden, closed on three sides, has a beautiful swimming pool (* see details). In the evening the pool is beautifully illuminated.
The authentic elements in the house, such as the beautiful stone walls and wooden rafters, are combined with modern elements such as the long kitchen unit, which invites to cook together after a visit to one of the many markets. The main building has 3 spacious double bedrooms. The romantic bedroom on the ground floor has its own integrated bathroom and separate toilet. Through the folding doors you can walk straight into the garden.
The large bedrooms on the first floor share a spacious bathroom.
A separate flat for 2 persons with private bathroom can be rented additionally, so not separate from the house.

In the middle of the Cahors wine region. Many wineries, restaurants in all price ranges and a daily market to visit.
Activities
For sportsmen and hikers, there is a lot to do. The walking possibilities in this area are endless. Cycling in the Lot, both on the road and mountainbiking, is a feast. Near Villeneuve you will find a very beautiful 18-hole golf course. There is a 9-hole course at 10 minutes distance from the house where you can play golf between the fruit trees. For those without too much fear of heights, there are many climbing challenges. The Parc en Ciel is an absolute must. At 10 to 15 metres above the ground, you move through the treetops of an oak forest. A zip line of 300 metres is part of this challenge. And of course you can swim and canoe in the river Lot.

The swimming pool is only for the tenants of the house, surrounded by a tiled terrace and a new outdoor shower.

High season: all school holidays, July and August.
Mid-season: May, June and September, October
Prices refer to the main building. Flat: extra room and bathroom (high season 350 euros per week, half and low season 250 euros per week) only to be rented in consultation and in combination with the house.

Prachtig huis in een prachtige omgeving. Heerlijk genoten van de rust en de stilte. Het zwembad was een leuke afkoeling en binnen in het huis bleef het koel ondanks de hitte. Vlakbij de supermarkten en lekkere frietjes gegeten bij Frituur Yvonne.

We hebben hier een fantastische week vakantie beleefd. (3 volw, 2 peuters) Het was warm dus veel gebruik gemaakt van het fijne zwembad. Wanneer er gasten met kleine kinderen komen wordt er een hek geplaatst voor het zwembad. Erg fijn! Ruime volledige keuken, mooie ruime slaapkamer beneden, twee iets kleinere kamers boven. Hoge woonkamer met stoere balken in het plafond. Meerdere keren gebruik gemaakt van de bbq. Er staan zelfs fietsen en een tafeltennis tafel. Het zwembad werd tussentijds netjes schoongemaakt. Prachtige omgeving. Bij de achterbuurman kan er voor weinig lekkere rode wijn getapt worden en iets verderop zitten nog twee wijnboeren waar geproefd en gekocht kan worden. Mooie avondwandeling door de wijngaarden gemaakt. Fijne communicatie met de verhuurster. Kortom: zowel het huis als de omgeving zijn echte aanraders. Bedankt en wie weet tot ziens!

Een smaakvol ingericht huis voorzien van alle comfort. Prachtige leefruimte met goed uitgeruste keuken. Mooie dorpjes in de omgeving en gezellige marktjes. Het zwembad was een aangename afkoeling tijdens de warme dagen. Onder de catalpa lange zomeravonden beleefd met een lekker glaasje wijn uit de streek. Kortom alle ingrediënten voor een mooie vakantie.
