The house
Decorated in a simple relaxing style, connecting nature and river.
The cottage is on three floors with two en-suite bedrooms, salon/dining room, kitchen and a small courtyard.
The salon has travertine flooring, beamed ceilings and a log burner for those cold winter months. The kitchen, fully equipped with travertine flooring and underfloor heating. The large doors open onto a pretty walled courtyard. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with underfloor heating. King size beds in each room and parquet flooring and beams.
The pretty village has bars and restaurants and all amenities for daily life, no need for a car! The 15th century Chateau houses a contemporary art gallery, which is minutes from the house. Cycling, wine tasting, fishing...

Discover the diversity of the different grape varieties, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon & chenin. Montsoreau has several restaurants to enjoy. The pretty village of Fontevraud l'Abbaye has a Michelin star restaurant in the Abbey hotel. The town of Saumur has plenty of restaurants to choose from ; fine dining experience, traditional French bistots, floating wine bar on the quayside and trips on the river to sample local produce and fine wines.
Activities
Plenty of outdoor activities for all the family. Hire a canoe and discover the Loire river or for the less energetic take a trip on the river on one of the traditional boats 'Toue Cabenée'. Cycling is always good fun. Plenty of dedicated cycle routes around the village, amongst the vines or cycling along the river side. There is a bike rental place in the village.
