The house
A superb family holiday home with private pool, set in a rural hamlet at just a 10 minute drive from the coastal resort town of St Gilles (10km). Near the village of Commequiers (2km) offering a supermarket and shops, bakeries, bars, restaurants and a weekly market. The villa is well equipped, including a sauna as well as a covered bar/barbeque area. The lovely private swimming pool is a free-form design.
All on the ground floor with some internal steps: Lounge/dining room with bar. Separate kitchen with breakfast table. Utility room. Lobby/shower room and sauna, leading to double bedroom. Separate toilet. Double bedroom. Children's room with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds, next to a further bathroom (bath, double basins, toilet).
Includes: Washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, microwave, freezer, Wi-Fi internet, satellite TV (most English channels), DVD, central heating. Terrace with garden dining furniture and sun-loungers, garden and access to large meadow, secure off-road parking. Private heated pool (approx 6m x 8m, or 11m including shallow area, depth 0 to 1.30m) Sheets and towels included.

We have just returned from a fabulous holiday at Domaine des Plantes, The house, garden and pool were terrific. House was very well equipped, the TV for watching the World Cup Football was perfect!! Everything clean and tidy on our arrival and Eric, the owner, was on hand to meet us and was very helpful and brought us fresh fish during the week which was wonderful. Country walks direct from the house which was a great bonus and the coast with fabulous walks and shops and restaurants just a 15 minute drive away. We have already booked again for 2019.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We have loved every minute of our stay. The house is just lovely and perfect for a family. It was well equipped and even had more than we expected. The swimming pool was a dream and a god send. We spent many a day cooling off in it. The sauna and jacuzzi was a nice touch and we thoroughly enjoyed that. The view and the surrounds were amazing. It's one view we are going to miss. Loved spending many a nights listening to the frogs sing while we enjoyed the beautiful weather drinking the local wine. The local town and St Giles had everything we needed. Cannot wait to book our next trip and just relax again.
