The house
The main room on the ground floor is the lounge. This large comfortable room is furnished with families in mind and has all that one would expect to find in a lounge, including a widescreen TV with Freesat, and a DVD player. The fully equipped kitchen is accessed from the lounge and has everything necessary for family cooking. Also, on the ground floor are two large bedrooms each with a double bed and two single beds. There is a shower room/WC and finally, a bright and airy conservatory/dining room which leads out to the gardens.
The first floor is reached from the lounge via an enclosed staircase to a landing. This then leads to a further two double bedrooms, and finally, a separate shower room/WC.

Our 2.5-hectare site is set in a small hamlet 2.4 km from the village of Maché with excellent access to the surrounding countryside and Atlantic coast. With sweeping views over farmer’s fields and woodlands, our rural location offers plenty of open space and fresh air.

In our local village, there is a small bar, a superb boulangerie, and a well-stocked convenience store. In Apremont, 6km away, are three excellent places to eat, Le Relais d'Apremont in the center of the village, Les Vieux de la Vieille, a Pizzaria, and Le Cabanon which overlooks the lake.
Activities
Yoga classes can be arranged and take place either within our extensive grounds, on the sun terrace beside the swimming pool, or in our yoga studio/games room. Fishing is available only 2.5 km away on the largest lake in Vendée (170 hectares). Wakeboarding and an Adventure Water Park are 6 km from La Petite Guyonnière. The largest Treetop Trail Park in the world, Le Grand Défi is 15 minutes away and only 1 hour's drive away is the world famous Theme Park, Le Puy du Fou.

Further remarks
Close by are picturesque villages, larger towns with weekly markets, and plenty of historical places of interest. For nature lovers and bird watchers, in particular, the opportunities are endless with the countryside full of life. Quiet country lanes and dedicated cycle tracks make our local area ideal for walking or more serious training. For triathletes, the largest stretch of open water in Vendée (170 hectares) is on our doorstep.
Also within easy reach are the glorious, wide, sandy beaches of the Atlantic coast. On a typical summer’s day our nearest beach, at St Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is a pleasant 30 minutes drive away.
