Villa Thunbergia

Villa Thunbergia is located in the quiet village of Saint-Avaugourd-des-Landes, which is 30 km from the popular seaside resort of Les Sables-d'Olonne in the province of "Vendee". For families with children, Vendee is an ideal destination for wonderful holidays on the coast. With over 250 km of coastline and many beaches, it is therefore one of France's most popular holiday destinations. There is also a wide choice of amusement parks and water parks for children of all ages. The Vendee is about 900 km from the Netherlands/Belgium and is located between the cities of Nantes and La Rochelle. With around 2200 hours of sunshine, it is one of the sunniest destinations in France after Provence.

For the golf enthusiast, there are some attractive golf courses in the area.
These are Golf La Domangère, Golf Port de Bourgenay Golf Sable d'Olonnes and Golf D'Olonnes.

The Villa:

The villa is fully furnished with beautiful tiled floors and can accommodate 10 (and including studio 12) people. The well-equipped kitchen is fully equipped for the cooking enthusiast; large electric oven, combination microwave, ceramic hob, large fridge-freezer and dishwasher.

The living room/dining room, with high ceiling, features a fireplace, large dining table ideal for large families. The lounge corner is furnished with Full HD flat screen with satellite TV (all NL channels, FOX, Ziggo etc.), Apple TV and extensive stereo set. Furthermore, the villa is equipped with wireless high-speed internet and (free*) telephone connection. GSM reception is excellent in and around the villa.

Ground floor:

Optional extra to book:
- 1 x double studio with private bathroom (incl. toilet). This studio is attached to the villa and has doors giving direct access to the terrace and garden. The studio cannot be rented separately and can only be booked in combination with the villa.

Upper floor:
- 1 x toilet
- 1 x bathroom
- 1 x double bedroom with roof terrace
- 1 x double bedroom
- 1 x 4-bedroom (1 x bunk bed + sofa bed with pull-out mattress)

There are also 2 highchairs and 2 camping beds for your small children.

The garden:

The villa is located on a private (fenced) plot of 16000m2 and equipped with all conveniences and luxuries. In 2017, a large-scale renovation took place and a covered spacious outdoor kitchen was installed with adjoining terrace of approx. 200m2. The outdoor kitchen includes a wood-fired pizza oven, spacious barbecue with oven, pizza workbench with cooling, refrigerators, freezer, dishwasher and bar for over 10 people. This outdoor kitchen is every amateur chef's dream! Fresh herbs can be found in the garden and may be used: bay leaf, rosemary, thyme, mint and basil, among others.

In addition, the fantastic garden offers a large wellness area which includes; covered and heated swimming pool (can also be used without the dome), 6-person Jacuzzi, 6-person barrel sauna and outdoor shower so you can experience the ultimate relaxation spa feeling.

The garden is also equipped with various terraces (4), modern decking around the swimming pool with sun beds, spacious children's playground with lots of fun, fishpond with various cuttings and fish platform, professional carp pond, large lawn and ample parking for your cars.

To conclude
The price (per week) of the villa varies according to the rental period (depending on season) in which it falls. Other conditions that apply when renting this villa:
- Rental villa including 2 person studio is €250,- per week extra on normal rent.
- Deposit for the villa is €750,-.
- Hire bed linen and towels = €15,- pppw
- Hire bathrobes = €12,50 per bathrobe
- The landline calls are free to almost all European countries (including NL), should there be costs made outside this bundle then these will be deducted from the deposit (+20%).
- Final cleaning is included in the rental price.
- All damages will be deducted from the deposit.

Dogs are welcome. Surcharge is 12.50 Euro per dog per day.
