The house
Flat in chalet: 50 m2, living room/kitchen, separate toilet, 1 bedroom on first floor with double bed. Above the bathroom there is an extra sleeping space for 1 or 2 persons. Bathroom with 2nd toilet. Spacious balcony with view of the valley and a large common garden where you can e.g. BBQ. (Garden chairs available). (The washing machine is located in the boiler room and is for joint use)
Our house is situated in a suburb with only detached houses, approx. 500m. from the authentic mountain village ALLOS.
In the same chalet we also rent out a 4 and a 6 person flat, these are all conveniently located so that everyone has enough privacy.

At walking distance (500m) from the authentic mountain village of ALLOS, in a park with several detached houses. Near the source of the Verdon River, in the sunny southern French Alps. The valley of the Verdon is for the Dutch a relatively unknown area, it is ideal for nature and mountain lovers. From the house you can take several beautiful walks. The nearby National Park "Mercantour" offers even more wonderful opportunities for hiking and car trips. There you will also find the famous "Lac d'Allos" which is the largest natural mountain lake in Europe, beautifully situated. Because of the favourable location on the south side of the Alps, the climate is still pleasant for a long time, even in spring and autumn.

distance: 150 meters - 2 kms near skiing
From Christmas to Easter, the ski slopes are open, the attractive ski area of Seignus and La Foux d'Allos, which is connected to Praloup. This is the largest ski area in the Southern French Alps, no long queues for the lifts and above all, less expensive than in the well-known ski areas in the "Haute Alpes". It is about 800 m to the ski lift to the ski resort "Seignus", you can always park your car on the large car park.

Cosy markets where, among other things, culinary regional products are sold. Authentic restaurants, reasonable prices.
Activities
Val dÁllos with in this valley the village Allos is especially known among the French who live on the Cote d'Azuur and then because of the pleasant climate and the many recreational possibilities, especially mountain and water sports and not to forget the endless hiking possibilities. There are several rivers and lakes in the area. For children there are facilities in the leisure park at 10 minutes walking distance, such as a natural swimming pool with a slide. There is a tennis court near the house and it is a good starting point for many beautiful walks. Finally, Allos is known for its touring bikes over the various cols in the area and for mountain bikers there are endless possibilities here.

Further remarks
Also reachable by plane (Transavia) and train (Nice, mountain train Nice-Digne les Bains, exit station Thorame Haute Gare), or rent a car at the airport at a reasonable price.
